Finally TSC is getting back on their feet, after sending an inquiry and calling trice, my case is at last getting attention. I had received both email and text messages that my case has been reviewed and my fingerprint completed even when I never gotten a bio appointment, however, I think they might have used my previous fingerprint in the system. I am glad that my receipt # now work and track on www.uscis.gov, the site recognizes my SRCxxxxx # now, what a great relief, I will have to go stamp my passport if I didn't receive the 18months NOA in coming days. Its now 52 days of filing...

I didn't receive yet. Just so you have a reference, I sent my package on 10/18 and on 11/26 and then called 1-800-375-5283 to make an inquiry about Non-Delivery of Notice for my NOA1. I also asked the representative if they scheduled my Biometrics and she said no. So I think they still didn't start scheduling those yet.

Your NOA1 might have gotten lost in the mail. I advice you to call 1-800-375-5283 to make an inquiry about Non-Delivery of Notice. You will have to stay on hold for a while waiting to talk to a representative but it is worth it. I received the extension letter 4 days after I made the inquiry.

the NOA1 is more for a proof on paper to show where required and I’m not too worried about that since I’m not traveling internationally anytime soon. I advice you to call USCIS and submit an inquiry for Non-Delivery of Notice. Your notice might have gotten lost in the mail. Even if you are not traveling anytime soon, you should carry with you all the documents that prove your legal status. 

Section 264(e) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (I.N.A.) requires all lawful permanent residents (LPRs) to have “at all times” official evidence of LPR status.

It basically says that, anywhere in the US, the agents of the CBP can request your documents, and then if you don't have them with you... the least I can imagine is that they will follow the law and charge you with a misdemeanor.

 

I know this is probably not going to happen with any of us, but who knows? These are not good times for being an immigrant with a pending status in the US... So I recommend you play it safe.

I just checked the I-751 Filers (September 2018) Forum and it looks like they also didn't receive their Biometrics appointment letter yet. Neither did the I-751 August 2018 Filers.

It really depends on who you talk, the rep I was talking to wasn't helpful at all. 

She just told me that the NOA 1 was sent 11/02 and they don't send out duplicates. 

I made a service request online and I was told to wait 60 days and if I don't get anything in the mail to contact them again.

I am sorry about your case. I also submitted the request online and I even received an e-mail saying they sent me a copy of the receipt notice, but the actual letter that I received was the one mailed after my phone call. 

Did you try to talk to the tier 2 or even filed a missing mail search request with USPS? https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm

I know the USPS in my city is not the best, they often deliver letters addressed to our neighbors in our mail box, so I think they are the ones messing up actually. Or you could go the USPS office in your city and talk to the manager, saying you are waiting for an important document.

I have not talked to a tier 2 officer, but I made an InfoPass and talked to an Immigration officer at my local field office. He said the same thing. NOA 1 was issued but could not tell me if was mailed out and he also said that I should have received by now. We doubled check the address and that was it. 

 

I did not file a missing mail with USPS. I am registered with Informed delivery and I see the scans of every mail before it is send to my local post office. It was just not sent out. 

When I changed my address we had to submit the form for my wife (the sponsor) by mail to Nebraska Service Center and received the Notice in 4 business days after they received my case. So I did get mail from LIN before.

I am surprised that USCIS just didn't send your notice! OMG they are even worse than I imagined.

When you went to the field office you didn't have you passport stamped? If you are married to a US citizen, that should be enough. Then by the time you complete 3 years of the GC you will be able to apply for citizenship even if you didn't have your conditions removed yet (what might be the case, considering the current processing times).

My Green Card expires 1/27/19 so they didn't stamp my passport. They told me to come back when my green card has less than 30 days validity.
