I had filed my address change with uscis and got a confirmation email back from them, about a year before applying for ROC. They still sent the reminder letter for ROC to my old address. I would check with your previous address if possible, or make sure you have USPS redirecting your mail. 

Same thing happened to me. 

However when I double checked the address with the Immigration officer today at InfoPass they had the correct address. My guess is they just changed it now when I submitted my I-751.

Yes, they said that they have already mailed me the notice (no date specified, but I understand early Nov.) and I should have received it by then (meaning late November). So they took a service request. I sounds like it depends on who you talk to on the phone. Perhaps you can give it another try. I remember someone else from this forum also had a similar notification from USCIS about duplicate notices.

So, now even the mailman knows that my status has been extended 18 months...but do I care? No!  😅 alexpop and all others, especially in LIN, hope you get it this week as well, and at least before Santa comes.

My application was received by USCIS on November 1st. It is at the Texas Service Center.

So far I haven’t received anything. It has been over 30 days so called them today, nice lady, she put in a service request. I received a referral number.

I would like to see my family over Christmas but with all this it might not be such a good idea to travel. I have been unable to get an infopass appointment so far. 

I asked about the biometrics appointment, what would happen if I were to leave over Christmas and I would miss the letter and the appointment. She said biometric letters are usually sent out after you get the NOA. (Which has not been the case for many of you). If you can prove you had a good reason for not showing up at the biometrics appointment you’ll get a new one scheduled. Patience patience..... *sigh*

All the sudden it's moving thick and fast for us. Biometrics letter received on December 1, 1 day after NOA1 letter. If I am really the first one according to our list to get bio letter, then LIN crew should cheer up and look for letters in the mail this week!

Great! So it looks like LIN is running about 6 weeks for NOA1 with biometrics shortly after.

Hello Everyone,

 

I filed for my husband's removal of status on Oct 20 and we know that they cashed the check, however we have not yet received any kind of receipt number via mail and his removal is about to expire Jan 19. what should I do? should I call USCIS and find out what is going on? we sent the documents within the 90 days window (basically few days above Oct 20) via USPS to Dallas, TX and still have not received anything. me and my husband just had a baby and we just moved however I did not put our moving information as our permanent address is still my parent's place and our baby was only 1 month old when we filled and someone told me that it would be enough. I do not know what to do at this point. Should I call USCIS?

What is your timeline?

You said you filed  10/20. When was received by USCIS? 

Call them and ask for the receipt number and please let us know what service center you are at.

That is the thing, we have not received anything in the mail after filling for my husband. All I know is that we filled Oct 20 (technically Oct 25) is when we had sent it again after recalling it before they received it. They cashed the check 5 days after it was received at the lockbox facility in Dallas, TX

 

To this date, we have not received any information about whether they received it or not. No mail was sent. 

 

I have not updated my timeline in a long time as I did not have any time to, will do when I get the chance later today.

Hi Rooj, welcome!

I see Alex has already given you a bunch of info 🙂

Once you find out at which service center you're at and when they received your application, you can see if you are beyond the 30 days and put in a service request. I just did that. Hopefully that will help. January 19 is still far away, you might just get your extension letter before that
