Hey guys!   So I sent my response to the RFE from SRC (they said my petition was filed late, while it wasn’t). The response is just on its way, definitely has not made it to Texas yet.

At the appt, the very nice and helpful officer looked up the case and said that all 4 people appeared in the system, with a valid extension.  And that anytime while dealing with an entity that has access to the USCIS system (aka immigration while re-entering the country) there won't be any problem.  I however made the case that my stepson needed to renew his drivers license and my step daughter will be applying for her shortly.  He said the BMV/DMV is a different story.  They don't have access to USCIS systems and while they should accept an NOA with the party's name on it, they most likely would not accept it in the case of my step kids as their names are not on the NOA.  So we got 12 month passport stamps for my 2 stepkids.

Thank you. I am glad you were able to get the stamp for your step kids. I have to travel early January, and I made an info pass appointment for mid December. I hope they will also give it to, because I need to travel for my work. Good luck with the rest of the process.

Hey @MD1 out of curiosity, when did you send in your packet and when is your appointment scheduled for? Sorry for the questions, but I'm starting to fear that my husband may miss his biometrics appt because it looks like many others who sent in their applications around when we sent in his have gotten their appointment notifications so far.

I sent my application Oct. 31, it's delivered on Nov. 2, I received the email notice Nov. 6, and today I got the biometrics app. for Dec. 12. I hope this helps, and you guys receive the  NOA and appointment notice soon. I was hoping for my NOA. I don't think there is any rhyme and reason in this entire process. Good luck!

I am happy to see you received a letter from Nebraska Service Center. When did you send your application? 

I don’t think anyone in this group has claimed receiving biometrics appt letter from LIN yet. I know there are a couple different websites to check the case status, and they are sometimes inconsistent with each other.

Updated my status as waiting for a "duplicate" NOA1 letter, after being told that the first one was mailed late October but never received. Added biometric stats for each service center, because the "approved" stat will stay at 0 for at least a year for almost everyone 😬I also removed a couple of NOA1 dates of applicants that entered the date they received the text. As alexpop mentioned, please only add the date your received the actual Notice of Action letter as the NOA1 date, not the text or email date!

Thanks for adding the biometrics stats stuff as well as all the other work! Like many others at LIN, stressed about the bio letter arriving at some random time during or with a date for during planned work/leisure travel so... This is reassuring! Good luck with getting the duplicate, hope it arrives safely!

Folks at the Texas service centre - are the NOA1 dates you’ve put in our tracker the email/SMS dates ? Has anyone got any letter in the mail ? I’ve sent across my package on the 29th and got the number assigned on the 6th of Nov - Still nothing in the mail.

I am in a similar situation. I sent my application to Texas lockbox, but my service center is Vermont. Mailed on Oct. 31, email receipt that NOA was send on Nov. 6, biometrics appointment received on Dec. 1. I am still waiting for the NOA in the mail. My question is it the lockbox that mails out the NOAs or Service Center that adjucates your petition?

I am not sure but I think there is also the possibility that they would waive the biometric appointment.
