I didn’t have an interview for my conditional green card and I was hoping to skip the interview for my 10 year green card but they just sent my album back so I think I might just have an interview 😫

FINALLY! I’m so glad to be updating this chart. We received our NOA1 yesterday with a date of 10/20/18. What a relief! I’m not sure why I was anxious, but I’m happy to have our extension letter. We immediately scanned it to our computer and made copies. What an important letter! I like that it’s on thick paper. It’s so official.

Does anyone have a link or something (other than the NOA letter itself) that says the expired GC plus the 18 month extension letter is valid for employment and travel? 

I understand that is valid, but also worry I might have to educate others and want to be prepared to provide additional sources. Any additional information will be appreciated!

It would be nice to be able to skip the interview!

So did they keep all your application and evidences and sent you back a photo album? How weird they simply would not accept your photos... any explanation or letter or anything?

Yes,they kept all the evidence and sent back the album.I think I should have printed them with my printer or just send a small ziploc bag with some photos.I had 109 in my album 😭😭😭😭

From uscis.org, I searched for “I-751 receipt notice”, and here’s what I got:

 

”As of June 11, 2018, petitioners who file Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, or Form I-829, Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions on Permanent Resident Status, will receive a Form I-797 receipt notice that can be presented with their Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card, as evidence of continued status for 18 months past the expiration date on their Permanent Resident Card.”

They might treat them as 'original documentation', that's why they sent them back to you.
