Thanks. Sorry for the repeat TOPIC.

Profile pic - Rainbow Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

2012 - First Night spent in the US - Waikiki Beach, Honolulu

Spouse hung out here with celebrities from the movie The Fifth Element back when he moved to Hawaii

2016 - US Spousal Visa, via DCF, Manila, Philippines

....................................

PETITIONER (from NYC)

1999 - Got a place right down the street from this hotel - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii

2007 - Visited Philippines on vacation

I am happy to tell that I got my green card today! Vermont service center. No RFE, no interview, and I haven't applied for citizenship yet.

Wow!!!, Congratulations!!! This a great end of the year gift. Could you please share your timeline, and did you know your card was coming? I mean were you sent an email or a text message of a new card been produced? And finally, does your case status change online before the card came in mail. All these we give us still hanging in here to have hope. Thanks and God bless.

Thank you! All I wanted for Christmas is my green card! I applied for I-751 in October 2018.

I wasn't sent an email or text message that my case was approved or that my green card was sent to me. By the way, the new site still shows that my fingerprints were received on December 3, 2018, that's it.

I checked my case status online in the old site every day but the old site told me for 14 months that "My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered". I mean I could not track my case till the day they approved my case. December 16, 2019 was the first day when my case started to track. It was said that my case was approved. They shipped my green card on December, 19. On December, 21 I got my green card in the mailbox.

I FILE FEBRUARY 2019 when can i expect approval  ?

from vermont

According to the attached link to the VJ stats, https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/ ,

I-751 Petitions with NOA1 dates of Sept. 16, 2018 (CSC) and April 9, 2018 (VSC) are currently being processed. Based upon that data, you could estimate that your processing may occur around Sept 2020.  Be aware that these stats are estimates and may differ from USCIS stats or actual processing times. USCIS stats can be obtained by accessing your USCIS account and researching the information at that site.

Good luck on your immigration journey, and Happy Holidays !!

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Any news from Texas Service Center October 2018 filer? Still hanging in patiently here...

Hi prok, the only news that I have is that I received a biometrics appointment letter for October 28 while I was out of the country. My elderly neighbor didn’t recognize the importance and didn’t inform me, and we must somehow have missed it on informed delivery. So we found it when we came home on December 4.

I panicked a bit as the appointment had been for October! I called and asked what I should do, they said just send in the letter as instructed and include a letter with your request, an explanation why you are late and copies of your travel information. So that’s what I did. It took two weeks to get a reply, I just received a notification of a new appointment for biometrics for December 30. So my process has been delayed because of our traveling. I described the details for those who have travel plans and are nervous about missing an appointment. Obviously better to not miss one but at least it didn’t get me in trouble. It was a relief to get the new appointment.

How is it going for you? You haven’t received anything?
