Congrats on approval! Just curious, have you already submitted the n400 application prior to your i751 approval?

Hi.
I had it ready but did not send it yet.

However - 72 hrs before the approval I spent 20-30 mins  chatting with a human being  on the uscis website. Wonder if that made a difference....

What's the link to chat with USCIS directly from the website? I have only seen Emma the virtual assistant.

I chatted with them today. Here is what I got:

"Right now this case is undergoing processing. There will not be many updates until a decision is made on the case and or if that office needs additional information from you. You can get an idea of how long it will take to process your case from the processing time table available on our website at egov.uscis.gov/processing-times. These cases can take 16 Months to 22.5 Months to complete."

Profile pic - Rainbow Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

Obviously, no options than to stay stick to it. I chatted again with a live representative today, she told me my case is still within process period which she copied and paste for me to see, it was 14-19.5 months for Texas Service Center. I am almost 14 months, hopefully, I get an approval pretty soon. I wish everyone luck too. Cheers!

Still nothing since the updates about fingerprints after our bio appointment in early July... I’m hoping we get approved before needing to go in for a stamp, but with almost all the other Nebraska filers getting approved by now, I have no idea what to expect.

Were you told that your previous Fingerprint will be used and finally requested you go for Fingerprint in June? Just asking, because I was earlier told my previous Fingerprint will be reuse, and out of blues in October I got a letter to go do another Fingerprint, which I did. Till now, still waiting, it’s almost 14months now. I pray I get approved before I make 14months. All the best

No, we were never told fingerprints would be reused. We got a letter about a biometric appointment and went in early July to get everything done. Just like most of the other LIN filers I’ve seen who got approved months ago.

Ok, yea, Nebraska is a bit faster and ahead of others. Texas is a bit slow, I hope we could all get approved this month and move on to file N-400. Cheers

We filed the N400, while the ROC was still pending.

It was never transferred to local...just processed as usual in spite of the N400 filing.

Did it speed up the ROC? Did it make them look at our file? Who knows?

But we did not hesitate to file the N400.

Glad we did.
