You actually need to send the real color pictures, they don't accept photocopy of pictures, unfortunately it got to be the real pictures. Also, please make sure you don't send it earlier, wait for your 90 days before sending to avoid rejection and your package been sent back to you....best of luck

Not true. I've gone through the whole process from K-1, AOS and now ROC with pasting digital photos on a Word Document  and have never had any RFE or any problems. See photo of an example from my petition. @banter you'll be fine with pictures on a Word Document.

I'm so relieved having sent our package off. Sent yesterday by FedEx. Our window has been open for a long time and I had the majority of the petition completed before our window, but somehow my procrastinating @#$ has almost missed the deadline. GC expires 11/07/18. But It'll be received in time. Only issue is that driver's license expires the same date as GC.

Just like one other member has mentioned, we're kinda young 27 years old, both of us, and don't have as much financial mingling as all of the example lists of evidence lists. It's kind of intimidating. But we're both college students (PhD) and our income comes from a stipend so we don't have all the things people with real jobs have. Ex. no medical insurance, nothing to list spouse and a beneficiary as. The only co-mingling is that we live together in a rented house, we have a car loan together and both our names are on the registration as joint owners, we filed taxes as married, and we share a single checking account. That's it. But I'm sure that's plenty. That's our life. We don't have kids but we have a fur baby as you can see he got his own page of pictures. Anyone with a husky should know it's basically the same as raising kids haha.

Awesome! Good luck to you guys!

Wow I see from your timeline you got a reminder to file for ROC. How'd you set that up? Would have been useful because I procrastinated so bad this time. I want to be right at the window for Citizenship.

Thank you! You too!

Did you guys overnight the package? Based on what I see in the pictures I guess the closest FedEx to you was the on on Rockside. :)

Basically they are telling you examples of what can be sent and they are reminding you that you must file within the 90 days prior to expiration of the GC.

The font on our letter was different but the text is exactly the same like on this letter I found here on the forum.

Our NOA letter also came this morning! 18 month extension. For the record, we're with Nebraska, sent it off 10/3, arrived 10/4, check cashed and got text message notification around 10/10. Basically got the letter a day after the folks who filed a day or two before me, it seems like, from reviewing this forum. So hopefully this means that they are on a better schedule of taking basically 3 weeks to get these letters out! Hope the rest of y'all get your letters soon!

ETA: The "notice date" on the document is actually 10/20, so even though we got the text 10/10, I assume they didn't actually send this out until a little later.

NOA arrived today!  Dated 10/20/18  LIN number  - which service center in that?

ALSO!!!  Anyone one here have dependent children attached to this ROC?  My husband has 3 children here attached to his file, but the NOA only lists his name, no mention of the children.  My stepson needs to renew his drivers license and I doubt the BMV will do it with an extension letter that doesn't have his name on it.  That same stepson will also be traveling out of the country.  Anybody know?

You should be fine with those documents you sent, what they actually look for is the commitment of you both for a long relationship. The car mortgage is a very good asset showing your both name as a co-buyer, also jointly married tax filing is as well a realistic proof and finally the joint lease showing both names is also a good one too...so basically, you got it right...Good luck while the game of patience rolls....

Thank you for your feedback.

I guess I'm relying to some September filers, specially with California Center. Many of them received they notice 3 to 4 weeks later after sending their packages and their checks aren't still cleared til now. I'm from WA, so I guess I'm in the Western area and many fliers with California have experienced a terrible delay. I'll give it til next week and see if I need to call. 🤞🤞

What is your timeline and your Location (first three letters on your receipt)🙏🏽

Package delivered on Oct 16 at Dallas location, check cashed on 19th and got text on 10/22, with receipt # SRCxxxxxxx guess that's TSC, my timeline

That's great! We had filed 2 days after that, 10/18, and it got delivered 10/19. Today, 10/25 we got a bank notification from the bank that the check was cashed and made me smile with relief. Excited to receive an NOA1 with the receipt # soon! Let's see where it's going to be...maybe we'll be TSC buddies.

That's what I thought. Texas and Vermont are moving really fast compared to California and Nebraska. I'm praying just to get the Noa1 with the extension and I'll just be waiting the Naturalization process when the widow opens next year. I'll update when noa comes 😉
