I-751 OCTOBER 2018

My case status online completely shows validation error as in the receipt number does not exist. 

And my DHS case status is just case received when my biometrics had been done 11/21/2018

Any ideas on how to make them update the status?

Hello everyone,

We submitted a case status request online at USCIS. Then we received an email response saying our application is set for approval in February 2020! On one hand we’re excited about the approval, but on the other we are impatient because of the date. Has anyone else received a response like that for a case status check? I read back on this thread a few pages, but I didn’t check all of them. I’m also going to check the main forum for I-751 filers.

Interesting response. Do you think it means they already decided to approve? Maybe they just don't want to pass your case in front of the others that were submitted before.

February 2020 sounds right to me, considering the extension letter gives us 18 months. I'm curious, what date were you expecting to have it approved?

Your Service Center is Nebraska, right? If you check the processing times for I-751 you will see it is between 15.5 to 23.5 months (check here https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/).

We all have to be patient....

On the other hand, for the ones that married a US Citizen, we will be able to apply for citizenship even before we have the I-751 approved, when we complete 3 years of the 1st GC.

On https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do my case status isn't updated either. But it is updated on MyUSCIS account https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/.

We filled our application almost the same time beginning of October from Last Year.

We sent our Package and received notice of action one month later, plus they returned an album stated that they can't accept photo albums which we did change later on and sent regular form.

How long does take for the bio-metrics, we have filled with texas center service in Dallas.

Did you heard anything yet from the Dallas processing center for bio-metrics, I sent my package in the beginning of October, got the extension letter in November, please update how long does take it the for biometrics appointment with the Dallas processing center in texas, does anybody who filled in October received an update?

Hi Happy-Phil! I sent my package to Dallas and I just received a letter a couple of weeks ago saying that they were going to reuse my biometrics.

Hi Happy-Phil,

I sent my package to the Dallas address but my file was routed to Nebraska Service Center which is in Lincoln, NE.

I have not heard from them since 12/11/18 when I got my Extension Letter. 

I have check 3,000 cases around me (of which around 500 are I-751) and not for a single one did I see a change in status.

 

I am thinking on submitting a service request again for the biometrics.

I actually do not remember which ones I submitted. I know I submitted two, but of the choices they provided, I cannot remember.

I submitted the one that says "did not receive notice by mail" twice already and I always get the same reply: my case is being processed and it will take what it has to take haha. I think it's kind of pointless... we just have to wait.
