That was helpful. We have a CR-1 visa as well. The passport should be back by Thursday. And I am glad to know we can just open it to get the number to pay the fee for the greencard. Thank you so much!

I am a IR-1 visa. I received a large package from XPressPost on Jan 17. I was told not to open the package but that I could retrieve my passport out of the inside part of the envelope. The other package should be left untouched. I haven’t crossed the border yet. My package is about an inch thick. I have no idea what is in there. I took out my passport to pay the fee and to travel back to Mexico.

My husband just had his interview this morning and I was able to pay the fee using the A#... that’s all the way at the bottom of the Interview appointment email, and our case number the “MTL2018...” that we’ve been using to log in to the CEAC site. I was under the impression that I would have to wait for the physical visa to pay the fee but my lawyer emailed me and told me I could pay the fee and the sooner I paid it the quicker he would get his greecard, and it worked just perfectly with those numbers. Good luck!!

For those of you who got your passports back via Canada Post, how many of them showed one date that kept getting moved? I am mildly panicked. We got the tracking number on Monday that said it would be at the post office on Thursday. Then it was Friday...Now it's says Saturday. I am flying up to Calgary on Tuesday to drive back home to NC with my husband on Wednesday. I am trying not to panic, after all we've made it this far. But what were your experiences?

For any of the folks here that wrapped up your interviews and moved to America in the last 2-3 months, how long did it take before you received your physical green card?

Thanks.

I moved here January 31st, but havent gotten mine yet.  Was wondering the same thing.

Already got my SSN, drivers license changed and car transferred over and plated...  even got a job today.  But no green card yet

Entered Dec 31 and no GC as of yet.  Got my ssn 3 days after arriving though.  When I checked the website to see if it had been issued yet or not, it says that we are suppose to wait (again, more waiting lol) until 120 days and if we haven't received it after that, then you can call and inquire about it.

My husband entered on February 13th. I didn't expect it this soon. Like the others, he did get his SSN card 3 days after getting home.  However, we were not able to pay online the $220. And upon asking for help from the help center we got an email saying that his case didn't support paying online? Anyone else have this weird problem? We are getting a bit of a run around about the actual green card processing. Shocking, I know. But if anyone knows anything about this? I was kind of thinking it might be because of the electronic filing? I really don't know. Either way, we haven't paid for the processing yet, and we can't figure out how to go about doing that. Thanks.

Anyone received their GC yet?  (I know it says 120 days...but I'm impatient :) and curious to see if anyone got theirs yet)

My POE was February 4th and I got my GC in the mail March 30th. However I haven't received my SSN yet. Anyone else still waiting on a SSN because it needed to be "verified"
