Hey everyone, my wife just got an interview for Dec 18. We were doc qualified on 11 Sept so keep an eye out for emails with interview dates!

Unfortunately we're going to be in Europe then but it looks like they've made their rescheduling process a little easier. I'll post back with the rescheduling process if anyone is interested.

You should give NVC a call. I’ve never heard of them not giving them in order, so you might have a date set.

it was the best call I’ve ever made. I hope it goes well for you ♥️

Thanks so much for your thoughts :) I called yesterday (it was my bday and was sad I didn’t have hubby around so thought I’d call) and they said no date yet.  Maybe that’s changed in the last 24hours?

I called just then again.  Got message saying there’s such a large call volume, they’re not accepting new calls.

I really hope I didn’t get get skipped over?! Not reasonable to think so, but still!

Heads up on Medisys (medical in Montreal):

Currently here for my wife's Medical appointment they absolutely require FIVE passport photos.

I'm usually the totally over prepared one but only grabbed four for her, as I read somewhere that someone else only needed one and figured that was plenty of extra. So now I'm walking back to our Airbnb to grab one of the two I set aside for the interview. And we'll have to get new photos for her interview on the 13th.

Not a huge deal but kicking myself for not just sticking to what the requirements said! Was being cheap at Costco since they are sold in packs of 2 😛

Alright so I followed the instructions listed here: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/MTL-Montreal.pdf but wasn't able to register on ais.usvisa-info.com. Keep getting the error message 'The Immigrant Visa case number provided is not ready to schedule an appointment' haha 🤔I emailed CSRA support and they should get back to me in a couple days. Also spoke to a customer service rep and they said to wait a couple days and try again later. With regards to rescheduling, she told me that we'd have to wait until we miss the interview and then we'll be able to reschedule. Seems like a waste of resources but then again it's the government so no surprises there... Once I have full access to the ais-usvisa.info.com page I'll see what options there are.
