Just wondering about costs...  I've heard the medical in Montreal is around $400?  Any other fees after the interview once we cross over?

I believe Medysis in Montreal is 450$, but add on depending on what vaccines you need to get or renew. My husband called and said it can get up pretty expensive around $1,000 with the checkup and all the shots. Make sure you have your vaccine records so you know which vaccines you need.

& there is a immigration fee... USCIS Immigrant Fee and is $220 that you must pay after you received your visa and before you travel to the United States.

Does anyone know how to register for courier services so they can mail visa/passport back? Or is our addresses already on file? I tried to register in the Montreal pdf and Im abit confused.

Hello, can you provide the name of the doc and/or website with the checklist? I'd like to provide to my spouse to do the same in advance. thanks!

I went to this doc:  http://www.visadoctor.ca/en

At Bathurst and St Clair in Toronto, so easy to do by public transit.

Cost was $350, plus $50 for courier.

Also, I only needed one passport photo, not five.

For those of us that are preparing the pack for the interview, how have you guys gotten a copy of the I-864? I’m on the government website but it won’t let me print out a copy and I don’t have one… Anyone ran into this issue yet?

No, sorry.  I printed out a copy as soon as I finished it.  What does it say as to why it won't let you print it?

You will get an email with a link to register your interview and a courier service. I got it a couple days before my interview. You can probably google it, too.

Called NVC today... I had time so thought why not, even though I figured it wouldn't be helpful.  They said they already scheduled for all of November, so I guess there are no more openings at the end of November, at least according to this guy. He said they've started scheduling for September, but couldn't tell me if they've started scheduling for Montreal yet... i'm guessing not, based on the mid-month scheduling that's been happening the last few months.  As I figured, he couldn't really tell me anything about likelihood of getting a December interview, based on my CC date of Sept 21st.  So overall, not helpful and didn't really learn anything new, other than I was hoping a few more people would get scheduled for the last few days in November (after Nov 27th, which is the latest interview date I've heard of yet) but that doesn't seem possible.
