Did they transfer to Tier 2 immediately, or get a call back?  I was supposed to get a call back yesterday but they never did.

I think he said when he called he just got transferred today. However he called two weeks ago and called back 80 mins later by a Tier 2.

Good afternoon everyone! My Fiancé called and spoke with a Tier 2, we were advised out background checks have been completed! He was then told the same "We are still working on July", however with background checks done, I'm confident we should have more news shortly! Don't lose hope, I'm an October 9th filer to save you from checking my timeline.

I heard when your background is completed your file is with the officer for a decision and if you look back at people comments they were told that there background was completed and after one or two they got approval my background check was completed on feb 27 hope to get mine soon.....

Or maybe the applicant has some dark secret that the background check has exposed and there is further investigation needed hence why the delay.

Is this an insight or a guess? :D

Kinda stumped me now I've read it again

First I am sure the reason for the delay that you currently asperse about USCIS's workers, I was only commenting that there can be more to it then some "slacker" at USCIS. Just my opinion. It's kind of a pet peeve with me that people call out USCIS as lazy or slackers when the person making those comments does so with lack of knowledge of how the process works, what are the demands and criteria that USCIS is embolden to use in the adjudication of applications. Thats. all.
