I hope so.

Also, we got some fantastic photoshop wizards on this site, mocking up fake approvals and fake informed delivery posts just to get someone elses hopes up. sheeeesh.

Report them to a MOD and it will be address. Don't let that activity go unnoticed. Fight back.

Unfortunately I don't take these things lightly. We all depend on the information to be of good quality and if someone is not adhering to the TOS then something should be done. Most times a :D could indicate that this might be humor. Samfr is a perfect example of some one who looses trust when non-factual statement is made whether tongue in cheek humor or otherwise. Just saying.

Ah apologies! It was most definitely sarcasm, sorry if it didn't come across that way. Just kinda shook me that USCIS classed this site has BS and nobody on here was truthful

Well put yourself in her shoes. It's 3 pm and she has gotten phones calls since 9 am with who knows what questions and she is repeating the same script over and over. So maybe she just had a bad day. No reason to skewer her.

Nonetheless, my partner is calling back and asking for Tier 2 again, and this time asking for a badge number (the other lady wouldn't give it), and hoping to complain and also find out if the July estimate she gave us is anywhere near correct.

Although our plans were flexible (because of the nature of how this works), this more than screws it up.

I have been in her shoes, lol. Never do you treat someone who is paying your salary that way.

I worked for immigration in my own country for years. That is not how we handled phonecalls. If I ever responded like she did, my manager would have checked me.

I preach this all the time "stay off the phones" because there is a process and it works. It just might not be YOUR process but there is one in place. Most can't do anything with the information even if they knew what to do with it. There was a time that you could shave weeks off your waiting time to interview by getting your case number. That is no longer the case so having your case number doesn't speed anything up as most embassies are starting to require you to submit all your documents, for their review and sign off prior to the interview scheduling website is open for you to schedule the interview.
