I will also be dropping the %’s tonight to show what sort of completion we are at for October. It’s not as bad as it seems when you break it down :)

Oh perfect! I'll be ready and waiting to see these! :)

California service center filers here, NOA1 of October 23, NOA2 of Feb 26! The URL you want to check is my.uscis.gov.  The other one, egov, is not updated for us yet.

Congratulations! Can you make sure your timeline is updated?

Hello.

The immigration officers said on my attempt to enter U.S. (when I got refused entry) that I had lied to them since I changed my mind on my first and only trip to the U.S. about when I was coming back (but I didn't stay longer than the 90 days which the visa waiver allows). Do you think that this could be brought up in the interview?

absolutely. But just be honest with them. Prior denials don’t have any impact on new applications.

NOA 1: October 4th and we still don't get approved. Not gonna lie I am bit frustrated right now. Looking how many October fillers have been approved by now is kinda discouraging.

Do you know if calling actually helps by any means? Also, does it matter what country the beneficiary is? because I haven't see any mexican approved...

My Fiance Is From Mexico, Our Noa1 Was Oct 5, 2018 & Got Our Noa2 With An Aproval Date Of Feb 13,2019. So Probably They Don't Have Them Arranged In Any Specific Way?  😰Hope You Get It Soon

Alright folks, I got the good news today!

NOA1 was 10-30-2018

NOA2 came in at 02-25-2019

Only got the letter today (3-1-2019), and the USCIS website hasn't updated yet either.

For everyone still waiting, keep up hope! They're moving quickly now through October, and I'm sure we'll all be through over this huge hurdle soon.

And thanks so everyone for keeping the faith and trading notes and good vibes. Yall are the best!

-Thomas

Congrats ! Hope everything else goes smooth for you. I have same NOA1 date hoping I will receive next week . I called this Wednesday they said it’s under normal time and no more info . Hoping to get in mail in next two weeks .

With the CSC due to close in a little under 2 hours, here are the current percentages we are looking at as reported by VJ users.

  • We have 75/187 Applications approved, this is 40% of October approved (versus ~72% for every other month).
  • 49/116 (42%) applications with NOA 1 prior or on the 16th of October have been approved.
  • 26/71 (37%) applications with NOA 1 after the 16th of October have been approved.

We usually see around 65% approved before a bunch of November approvals will come through, so there is still time. Let's hope next week is good for us!

For September we currently have 115/182 approvals, around 63%, so September is still catching up with other months.

For November we currently have 5/156 approvals, so less than 3%.

Please remember to update your VJ timelines to keep this data as correct as possible.

Have a good weekend and try not to think about USCIS, there is nothing we can do. Instead, start collecting documents you will need for your interview(s) in order to save some time there!

edit: you have another 1.5 hours to call USCIS if you would like to roll the dice on getting some Friday good news!

Thanks Brandon, I'm surprised to see only 43%. I guess it's easy to think that "everyone got it but me!" I was thinking that until today.
Enjoy your weekend and I'll keep my fingers crossed for next week for you all!

Update on %'s approved.

Igor's list Is showing 57/175 approved for October, giving us a 33% approved rate for October, 17 of the 57 were approved after the 16th (My NOA/Middle of month), so 1/3 of total approvals were approved after the 16th, 2/3 approved prior to it.

I expect these numbers to change due to a large amount of approvals today, I will update this later today for anyone who is wondering. If you also have a NOA1 date you would like stats for, just let me know :)

10/15/18
