I know it is hard to stay patient. I myself have been bit disappointed and frustrated at time. So i called and i was given good tidings. I am very thankful for that.  Now just waiting to receive a hard copy. then more waiting games...

I called this morning and got transferred to a Tier 2 and he was nice and gave me lots of info and said the my papers are completed and its in the officers desk for approval as of Feb 27, 2019  and he also mentioned that it doesn't sit at the officers desk that long for approval when it reaches his desk it almost all good to go for approval am hoping soon or this week ill get an approval.... congrats on yours

by the way how long do you think until the officers sign it for approval since it was at his or her desk on Feb 27, 2019 just curious.

My fiancé and I began the journey in October. We filed on October 26, 2018. We received notification on October 31, 2018 receiving the I-797 Notice of Action form. I called USCIS yesterday to check in given the USCIS Case Status Online still reported only receipt of the case. I was told that our case had been approved on February 21, 2019! Just under four  months! I was so excited. We definitely celebrated this marker in the process. However, I continued to check online, and there was no update. I just called again due to overwhelming nervousness regarding the information that I was provided. The agent told me that often there are problems with the online case status. They verified I had been mailed a letter of approval, and now I am feeling much calmer. Good luck to all the other couples waiting!!

Congratulations, super jealous!

Thank you so much. Hopefully we are approved already and the mail has been sent.

can you pass on what your partner said to USCIS to get an answer?

Yeah, she only asked for an update on the background check, the tier 2 officer was very nice and told her “I got good news for you” you have been approved and notice sent yesterday.
