I think it's entirely possible that there are just some slow workers and some fast workers. Unfortunately, it appears the faster workers don't pick up the slack of the slower worker. In my experiences through life, the entire "business" needs to move through it together and help out with the workers who may be behind on their application pile.

Meh, who knows?

Yeah... I work for a government agency in my own country and never seen something like this but oke... we have no choice

I feel like they started backwards and moving towards the beginning of october.. weird weird..

I had this thought too. Perhaps they put early October in bottom of a box, and then the late October ones go on top. And then they are worked backwards. However, a lot of early October files have been approved too.

You can paint a picture of what the workers are or are not with a broad brush but I offer the most significant evidence that should be taken into consideration. Please read and I think you'll have a different perspective on the process. JMHO

Congratulations! Hope the rest of our journey will be as smooth 😊

For sure, I have a copy of this pulled down and it's very informative. The only *issues* I'm having is just that our names aren't particularly common, so background checks and such shouldn't take any extra time, I'm from the UK so there should be pretty good relations there, there aren't many things I can see getting in the way. But also, I am very bias and I may not see the flags in our application.

Thank you none the less, I appreciate your input :D

THE LAST APPROVAL WAS THE OCT 16? DO WE GO BY THE RECIEVED DATE OR THE NOTICE DATE?

I might add as a comment with 3,000 (using an arbitrated number here as an example only)  people ahead of you in line there still is a wait. And then, when it gets back to the adjudicator they must interrupt each and everyone that they are responsible for. So many things to look for that must be done for each record same name or not. Unfortunately, this is the time that it takes. We don't know why something takes this long. Nobody but USCIS can explain, but with millions applying there is only so much manpower that can be thrown at the problem. JMHO
