Got our NOA 2 Today! NOA1 : OCT 19  and NOA 2  FEB 15.

I have a question because I am still recuperating from KIDNEY Transplant and still in the Isolation requirement. Can we ask for the extension of the validity of NOA 2?

Congratulations and I wish you a speedy recovery 🙏😊

Congratulations! I believe it's valid for 4 months but it can be extended. You might want to check with your embassy to know the full details. Praying for your fast recovery!

Hi guys! Just an update on our case. So first I'd like to thank you for letting us know that it's possible to call the USCIS to ask if the background check has been completed. That's what I did last night but the immigration officer refused to give me the information as I am just the beneficiary so I asked my fiancé, the petitioner, to call them instead...

OUR CASE WAS APPROVED!

Case wasn't updated in both websites and NOA2 isn't on the mail yet, as there were problems in some distribution centers that caused the delays. ETA of hard copy is 1 to 2 weeks. I will update my timeline once we get it.

You might want to call them at 1-800-375-5283 (Press 1, 1, 2, 2, #). Hope yours is on the way, too!!!❤

Congrats!!! I'm so happy for you ❤️🤗

The weird thing is, I heard someone called yesterday and the tier 2 officer told them they just started approving july (even though we all know they are approving October too) and they gave them wrong info about their case, because it was their second time calling and the first tier 2 agent told them something else...

😂😂😂...they are probably looking at the outside normal processing info and definitely was not a tier 2 rep. I know people from july who already have their visas.  Dont worry! Remember..we are not talking to the CSC.

It happened to me as well. it depends on the officer. if they are nice enough they can give you bit more information. first time called i was told bc was completed and second time i called she straight up refused and said that the only information she sees is what i see online.

Couldn’t agree more! My fiance said “okay, I will do as you asked to contact them, but I really hope you don’t set your expectations high if they refuse to give more information about our case, pls don’t drag yourself to get stressed more and more, we are still in normal processing times”

i was like “try your best please” lol
