How long the I-129F take?

Every case is different, and processing times can go up or down during the year. It's almost certain that people here who filed after you will be approved before you.

You can see the averages for VJ members who have updated their timelines in the last year here: https://www.visajourney.com/content/k1historical . As you can see, the current VJ average is 196 days for your petition to be approved, and 280 days for the entire process from I-129F NOA1 to K-1 interview. However, the consulate stage varies a lot depending on which country you're interviewing in. Also, these numbers are averages; that means some people were approved more quickly and others more slowly. And less than 10% of K-1 filers create timelines here on VJ; that's enough for a fairly representative sample, but a small number of outliers can skew VJ data a lot (this also means if filers from one particular day don't seem to be seeing approvals here even though many from later dates have been, it's probably just a coincidence, and people from that day who aren't on VJ did get approvals).

USCIS currently defines a case as outside normal processing times after 7.5 months, but that's subject to change (it recently went up from 7 months). That's when you can contact them if your case hasn't been approved and get an answer other than "you're currently in normal processing times", though it's likely the answer will be to wait for another 45 days.

Yeah, this is the wrong group for spousal visas.

FWIW, you'll have a lot of trouble finding any good data for K-3 processing times because there are very few K-3s approved anymore (virtually all are converted to CR-1/IR-1; if you just filed for one, expect this to happen).

You can get average CR-1/IR-1 processing times for VJ members here https://www.visajourney.com/content/ir1cr1historical
