Hi all! Things are definitely getting exciting timeline-wise, aren’t they??

I’m the beneficiary and I’ved moved houses now. How do we update my address within this process so mail is sent to the correct place in the future?

I would contact your embassy when your petition moves to the last NVC stage. Once the NVC forward the petition to your local embassy, I would contact them with your updated address.

Getting more and more excited that some August and September fellas receiving their NOA2! Can’t wait for ours! Even our timeline here back and forth a few days later, still a little hope!

The good news, my fiance is here visiting me in Indonesia. Time to rebuild quality time after 8 months being apart, would be last longest waiting time until my move to USA! Very excited.

Hope upcoming months brings the goodluck approval for us😀

Look like we have the same timeline and same country. I will be happy if we can connect 😊

Sorry, is this for the USC? I’m the beneficiary and live in Australia.

I believe you can also update the address from the USCIS website.

Nope, don’t think I can use that. When you go to “old address” and “new address”, it only lets you choose US states and there’s no “country” option.

There should be one that you can use. I remember someone asking the same question and the answer was given that allowed the Bene to complete their address change. I don't know why I don't have in my file. I'll keep look or searching for the answer as I want to know because you will not be the last one to ask the questions.

I know the change of address can be completed when you submit the DS-160 and you can ask at the embassy where you can make a change of address in anticipation of receiving your visa/passport. Let me know if you ever get an answer. Thanks.

Here is the answer to the beneficiary change of address question. During the petition process USCIS doesn't care if the beneficiary moves, they send nothing to the beneficiary.   Only the petitioner's address matters. The beneficiary's address should be changed on the DS-160 or after the interview for the delivery of the visa.
