Congrats for your NOA2 yay!! Finally! So happy for you. As for the case number, we only received after 5 weeks. So, its normal.

Thank you. It definitely was a huge relief. And thank you for sharing your experience with NVC phase. From NOA 2 on I know very little. And information is confusing too. Thanks again and good luck with continuity of your journey.

@Greenbaum Do you think they can extend the expiration of the NOA2 approval? Because I just log in in the website to schedule interview and I can reschedule my interview for June 19 which is the last day of my NOA2 expiration but I don’t know if my girlfriend will be in good condition by June 19 because the birth my the baby. Right now I feel like if they tell me They can’t extend the NOA2 I will loose the this reschedule appointment. I don’t know what to do in this short of time.

This is a very simple process and there is no need to worry. You have an approved application for one year. They want you to process as early as possible. MOST embassies will extend with out much problem. Most do it automatically. I have no personal information as to what your embassy generally does. I would think they would extend without much problem, especially in the condition your fiancé is in presently. Contact your embassy to ensure they will extend without fanfare.

Once you are extended DO NOT run out and book an interview. My god, wait until you know everything is ok with the baby and mom before you add more stress on her.

Thank you again @Greenbaum I just sent an email to the embassy for an extension let see what they will reply. I see you said to not run out and book an interview but I already did it like 3 weeks ago. The baby will be born most likely in 1 or 2 weeks. The VAC it is in 5 weeks from now. If any complications comes up I just reschedule the VAC and the interview.

Don't reschedule since you are this far out for the interview. If anything changes and you have to cancel then you still have that option to cancel and reschedule. Just don't put anymore pressure on yourselves. You have enough to worry about.

Sorry for a late response. To be honest I don't know cause from my understanding everyone is different. We received an email from NVC a few days later after our case left NVC towards embassy. That's all I know. I haven't heard anything after that. I believe it takes time until embassy will send you the instructions to what to do after.
