What exactly did the tier 2 told you. That they approved you and now are waiting for supervisor approval? Or that your case is with a supervisor? 

I have heard that this is a standart procedura for them to have supervisor look at the cases. Other tier 2 said when officer is unsure about a decision supervisor takes a look over it as well. For the piece of your mind you can call today and try to get a tier two and ask them when was the last time your case was looked at and what is the status so far.

We called on Friday, they just said the case from the supervisor, did not say anything else

I would wait another day or two and if you hear nothing call them again and ask them specifically when was the last time they worked on your case. And ask why is your case with the supervisor. It can be nothing or it can be like greenboum said some complexity. Try do not get panicked. It could be just a regular procedure.

Waiting is crazy .. I know that the long process is still ahead, where I live it is very difficult to get a date for an interview, the last time the girls waited 1.6 months for opening dates for interviews.. I hope for approval this week.

I hear you. I have been waiting to be with my fiance since December 2017. We applied for K1 and we got denied first time and we reapplied and got another RFE, and now we wait again. It is not fair but you should not lose faith. If you sent them everything they asked for then you should be fine. Now its just a waiting game.

My RFE was Delivered on the 28th too. I'm assuming the day you hear something I'll hear something too.

Even tho I'd love to hear something now , I noticed most cases get updated Thursdays and fridays. Don't worry we will hear something soon.

Approved, finally!

I received an email notification and it was updated on the new website. Old website and case tracker app aren’t updated. Our approval date was 4-09-19, and our NOA1 is 11-2-18 (received 10-29-18) thank you!!

The email and the website seemed to be simultaneous, the email said there was an update to our case and the website said we were approved! It was just updated this morning since I checked last night.

We didn’t have an RFE so it might be a little different, but at least you know they’re working on your case!! It’ll be so soon!!

Are you following others to see when your case will be approved. There are so many tools to determine when that might be. They are not exact but it is all we have to go one.

 

Tool Tip 1: Use the tools here in VJ to answer "when I am going to get etc. etc." question. Near your picture there is a link for your timeline. Select it and once you're on the next page near your picture  you will see "follow similar timelines" and it will populate 12 other couples who are near your dates. Scroll down and you will see a "spreadsheet" style page showing all the variables for measurement for when others are getting the same notice of approval or action.  Try it. It really works!

 

I followed those that were in my group to give me an idea where they were in processing so I could judge if I was ahead or behind.  It's pretty accurate, maybe within a day or so.

 

If you choose to follow those twelve members then you will get an email every time their status updates.

Tool Tip 3:  If you select your flag in your profile it's going to open up to a page with lots of information. In the middle upper part of the page you are going to see "Quick Links" then in the list select "Embassy Review" and you will be taken to a page where you can read what others have experienced at your Embassy and you can add your review. Once it is complete then cut and paste the URL for your review into this thread to share with everyone. This keeps the thread clean and tidy, and not only those who are here to see it but others who may not see this thread but would see your experience. A good interview will point out some of the hiccups that you experienced along the way and the highlights of your experience. These are very helpful.
