Send scans and a cover letter saying that you can provide the originals if they need it.

I got my papers notarized from my friends ..

i asked few people and always affidavits papers have to be notarized and should be original.

Maybe you right. But when I asked friends from my country to send notarized papers the notary sayd only official documents get notarized. Who knows I guess I will find out soon.

The general rule of thumb is that the Petitioner sends copies and the beneficiary for the interview, their papers are originals. Most embassy want to see the original and if you bring a copy of the original to the interview in most cases the CO will take the copy and return to you the original during the interview. Nothing ever has to be notarized. Always refer to what is required for your country with the P3 letter. Don't assume that what is good for your embassy is going to be the same for others. Just my experience.

I'm now the last UK filer between September 1 and October 31 to not have an RFE or Approval.

Sad times over here. Really beginning to think something is wrong and our application has been misplaced.

UK here too and still nothing

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Not trying to sound bitter but this whole talk about first come first serve for K1 petitions at USCIS, how its gets boxed then serviced based on date is pure rubbish! Today a petitioner from the Phillipines in a FB group announced she received ber NOA2 on 3/21. Her NOA1 was Dec 6th!!! Yes Im happy for them but its NOT about date. Its about the country and I refuse to believe otherwise. So frustrating!! 😡

12/1 was her NOA1. Her NOA2 was 3/21! Not even 4 months waiting and I personally feel it is country.

I do not agree with you, I'm probably the only Belgian over here (January filler) so am I going to get approve first or after everybody because i'm the only one from my country ? The country criteria doesn't make any sense. Philippines is one of the country where the most K1 fillers are coming from. So it is logical we feel like they get approved more, they are more from there applying ... I'm not judging, I understand it must be frustrating and therefore you are trying to make sense out of this but the reality is that we don't know how they work :(

I'd say that the most probable explanation is that some workers are working faster than others...

The only thing we have power on is our positivism. It might be because I'm naive but I'm sending you all my courage and I'm hoping yours will be here asap same for @brandonflude1 and the rest of us !

I wish you a wonderful day from My side of the world

Marie
