Gives the rest of us some indication that our NOA2 could be floating around in some USPS location.

Wow some of you are way to wound up about your cases not being approved. It's understandable really it is, I've been there, the only thing you are doing is setting yourself up for a long fall if your case should take an extended time to be approved. By setting yourself up I mean your bar is set way to high. I am speaking from experience trying to share with you. I waited 299 days a few days shy of 10 months, I submitted my petition in May 2018 and just got approved March 6th. I watched my entire May group get approved before me and move forward. I started out going to another thread June 2018 filers but that was a big mistake as it broke me down to the bone. It was not until many months later when I learned to relax and stop looking at other threads and even stop coming on VJ did i regain a measure of sanity.

Don't let this get you down because it will and can easily if you let it. I recommend wholeheartedly if you are feeling an excessive amount of despair stop visiting other threads and reduce or eliminate the time you spend on VJ and checking your status until you are approved. It worked great for me. I do realize we are not all the same and we handle things differently, but like I said I'm just sharing my experience with you. I've been there all 299 days worth. You will get approved it just might not be as quickly as you'd hoped.

Yeah seems most people find out via the mail.  Advise everyone to sign up for USPS Informed Delivery if you haven't, so you can see scans of your mail before it arrives

Hello everyone!

I am sitting around of thousands papers and trying to put all my RFE letter together. I need an advice, I cannot really prove by using  passport stamps I was in Canada in vacation with my boyfriend. I, however have a million of bank statements where I paid with my visa card in Montreal plus receipts. After I tried to find out how I can prove I was in Canada I found out by using FOIA. It takes 8 months to wait FOIA results and I cannot really afford that time. We have some tickets from Biodome and Cirque du Soleil. They asked for airbnb or hotels bills. I already sent them those in the initial package, but they sounded in the RFE letter like I have not send anything. Can I send them one more time? I have his fly tickets and we send those as well in the first package. I don't know what else I can send them to make them happy. Any ideas or can you please share what else you guys included in your first package? Thank You.

@brandonflude1- I called to speak with the tier2 and my case is still pending. I am October 22, 2018, can you explain this to me?

Some cases take longer than others. Your case is still in normal processing times (as is mine).

Every case has a different timescale based on every little thing that is different

Your case is is estimated to be approved in 6-8 months from the receipt date.

Sure but Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks
