when my fiance called them, they did not give him such information ..they said just wait. How do they give you this information?

I would take most info from calling with a grain of salt.  Unless they tell you the approval/RFE is in the mail, it seems the info can be fairly inaccurate.

Make sure to ask to speak with tier 2 officer. And as everywhere you have some nice one and some... We'll less nice. We just called and we've been told everything is OK, no rfe's, no red flags, everything is perfect waiting to be approved.

he was talking to Tier 2. They also said that there is no RFE.. no problems (IMHO probably) just wait, but how long to wait .. from October 12...

1/4 to 1/3 of VJ filers here are still waiting. Don't worry.

The ones approved from November were probably processed by the same officers who approved the earlier October filers

This is a most true statement getting a straight answer out of them is like pulling teeth. Unless they say you are approved or a RFE is on the way I would be leary of their answers. During my wait I was told so many things contradictory things I just stopped believing them. The good thing is most petitions are approved at this stage maybe not as fast as you would like, but they are approved eventually. The only true statement they say to you that you can consider true is when they tell you that you just have to wait.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

The processing times are off at the moment, supposedly I should've been approved a week or so ago. (Of course many variables change this).

Still nothing. We are very upset, too. From stress already health problems. I do not understand why there is still no approval, when they already approve on November 15, and so on. (((

Two things to note. One is, and this is from my experience, if you set your expectations to high then when the answer/timeline is not what you expect then you have a much further path to fall landing you in disappointment. Two things that cause you angst is calling too much for updates and being here on VJ and listening to all the negative complaints. JMHO.

Explanation why is it taking so long.

Its so annoying to see that post. Most of us already know that generic information...but what we are experiencing is totally different. I wish USCIS actually had a forum or an updated tracking system so that we would have a better estimate of our progress...but even on their own website..it states "we use historical data and cant tell you how long it will take to complete an application filed today" #######!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Yeah, the whole system could be a lot better. But their processing times are 6-8 months so we will just have to sit tight.

As I said yesterday, just pay the $ and book another flight over in between. I'm planning to travel for 6 weeks in Early May - just tired of the missing xD
