@brandonflude1  What happened with your case status on the web site? Did it go back to 'Case Was Received'?

It’s always just been the “We received your case” on the new website. The old website has all the information about it.

@Greenbaum have you come across the “new” website not having any information other than “We received your case”? No date or anything on there.

I have had reports that neither site is updating. It's my opinion that those two websites are non-functionable for probably  for a variety of reasons. I wouldn't put much fait in them. JMHO

From time cases do become "lost" but it is rare. Everyone I have heard were found eventually and they went on to being approved.

Since I asked my initial question, I've been told by another filer here that they had the same message as me and went on to being approved so I don't think there's much in it, as you previously said. Just a little worrying that their "new and amazing" website doesn't even have the date they received my case. I'm sure it's all good though!

One for your knowledge bank if this ever comes up again

So they have two non functioning websites?  Reminds me of a quote from the movie Contact: "First rule of government spending.....why build one, when you can have two at twice the price?"

I guess this process is a proper introduction to how things work here in the US.....😄

Even better that there is two-step authentication for one of the two websites....

Our government continues to face challenges with the "technology" world and most times can't get it right. There is so much that they could do to enhance the experience of the visa path. My opinion.

I think you're correct.

I went from not caring, to worrying we'd been left behind, back to now being semi-over it. I guess we're gonna be approved when it's our turn. Flights aren't too expensive, and we can make visits while we wait for our NOA2.

As long as I'm not the last one on here, I'm more optimistic.

For anyone wondering:

103/197 approvals for October (52%)

43/79 approvals after October 16th (54%)

60/118 approvals on or before October 16th (51%)

September is running at 70% approved right now (133/197)

Received date is the day it got to their mailbox

NOA date is they day it got put into their system and they mailed a notice to you.

It doesn't really matter too much, but using the latter date is better for estimates.
