Good Morning , I have called NVC today and they said ,they have received my case since yesterday Nov 13 , NOA2 was OCT 23

NOA2 OCT 23rd

NVC received NOV 13

Embassy Baghdad, Iraq ( I can't update that on the website for some reason )

so at this point I didn't do anything beyond NOA2 , I emailed NVC back on OCT 29 but back then didn't receive anything ,

@Greenbaum I appreciate your input if you have specific information for the US Embassy Baghdad, Iraq also anything will need to be done  for the NVC at this step or preparing for the Embassy  ? Thank you in advance .

Wet signatures are no longer required for I-134 for your Nigeria interview. You are able to send in scanned documents. I signed, scanned and emailed mine to my fiancé to print and it was accepted.

Scheduling the interview can take 1 to 3 months. Once you pay the 95,400 naira ($265) visa fee in a GTB Bank, you can go online to schedule an appointment at www.ustraveldocs.com You can get the forms online at http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visa_forms.html No need to go to the consulate to pick up forms. Download forms if unexpired or get current versions of same forms. Email LagosIV@state.gov for your interview date.

Thank you

I've just spoken to a very helpful lady at the NVC who advised that our case was received yesterday Nov 13th 2018, although no case number as yet....which is what I was expecting. I'm just super happy that they have received our case already!

Hoping for a case number in the next week or so so that I can book my medical and really hoping NVC send our case in the next batch ☺️☺️☺️

It's amazing the number of people that are just like you and do not take the time to research. You have to do some of the heavy lifting!! Go to the first tab of this thread and read the first entry and you will find your answer. Amazing right??

Most of your questions are going to be answered if you would just read the tabs that are before you in this thread.

Just tracked package going to US Embassy in Georgia, but i'm not sure if that's our case or someone else's. Visa Status check shows at NVC.

Most likely someone elses' case.

Not necessarily someone else's case. If NVC has 1 to infinite number case to Georgia (or any location) all cases go together. So if his CEAC status show "in transit" then he can check DHL and if it returns that this is a shipment for Georgia it is more or less likely he is on that shipment.

And since  Tbilisi does so few k-1s what are the chances it is not in the shipment

YMMV

Yeah, thats why i said most likely. He said that it says "At NVC" so i believe chances are that his case isn't among those that were sent out. If it said in transit, then obviously, yep.

I would say slim. But as you know, people make this into rocket science and USCIS just laughs. It can be anyone's file, but if his case is showing in transit and he has his case number and today is either 11/13 or 11/14 it might be a sure bet he is on that flight. But, his mileage may vary.

I would agree. Process of elimination. It's like an algebra statement IF IT STATES NOV 13 OR NOV 14 AND CASE FILE AT CEAC SHOWS IN TRANSIT RETURN "He is on the good ship lollipop".

No, I did my research and I read your first post.  Your first post says they will assign me a case number in APPROXIMATELY 2-3 weeks, however I watch other peoples time lines and notice that some get their case numbers assigned sooner and some get it later.    So neither you, nor I know when my case number will be assigned.  The person at the NVC told me 6 weeks.  I'm saying the wait for the # begins and I hope sooner rather then later!!

Wow, you are lucky with 6 weeks...when I called earlier same day they told me they recieved my case but would take 8 weeks to assign a case number
