Hi guys, do you have an idea how much it takes for the CEAC website to change status once the NVC ships the paperwork? :) I can’t wait for tomorrow and Wednesday! Anybody else excited?

It said "in transit" earlier than DHL received the package.
"Ready" was same day for me, when DHL Delivered package to Embassy. But this might be dependent on embassy (how busy they are).

Hey everyone!

Our NOA2 was October 19th.. does anyone know did the nvc started reciving visas for those dates?

Best thing for you to do is call NVC to check if they received your case. You can't base them receiving your case based on someone else's case...Cases aren't connected that way...

Advice: KEEP BUSY!!

There is certainly an indirect connection and a waste of time calling unless you see others with similar approval dates

YMMV

Is it a good idea to book an interview date under the belief that my packet will be sent to the consulate in this next batch? (Nvc number october 31st). I have completed all other forms and im ready to go.

What does your ceac status indicate?

YMMV

Suggested they call because more than likely they did not provide their email to NVC. Sometimes a call is the easiest for "newbies" (especially if they call 7 am (est) or 11:30 pm (EST).

I'm not saying don't call but it is a waste of time until you see others with similar approval dates receiving case numbers.   The other option is to update your contact information via asknvc which will resolve your example

YMMV

Hi all,

Just another silly question, am i right in thinking since im going through the American consulate in Germany i don't need to provide an english translation for my police certificate that is in German? Thanks!

The P3 says anything in either English or German does not need to be translated.

Does anyone have info on vaccines needed for Germany? (Or where I can get this info?) This info is from the consulate approved doctor and it says what is required:

http://www.internisten-im-westend.de/wp-content/uploads/Immigration-medicals-Important-Information-for-our-Applicants.pdf

(TdaP, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella)

This is totally different from what is listed on USCIS's website:

  • Mumps
  • Measles
  • Rubella
  • Polio
  • Tetanus and Diphtheria Toxoids
  • Pertussis
  • Haemophilus influenzae type B
  • Hepatitis B

Also the medical is 420 euros!!! Holy #######!

Anyone know which list is correct?
