NOA 2 Date of 10/16 st BELill not at the NVC as of today.  When I asked if it's been taking a while lately the woman I spoke to said that it's lately been taking the full 6 weeks because there's been a lot of incoming cases... I don't know if she was just making up something or not.

I think she might be right, took me 29 days for NVC to receive my case. 4weeks and a day

Thanks for the info.  I am assuming you called USCIS and they said they mailed it out as of November 1? Or was it the NVC person that told you this?

USCIS... I talked to USCIS and they were the ones who told me that they mailed the package from California to NVC on November 1st. So they should have received it by now. I am just waiting for them to assign a case number to it. I just called NVC and they told me that they still have not received it. Also they told me that once they do receive it it can take up to 8 weeks for them to forward the package to the Embassy.

Sincerly,

Alfredo and Denisse

If you want you can call at the close of today and they might have a number for you. Assigning a case number generally doesn't take 6 weeks.

Anyone else excited about next week NVC shipment?

Me! However, ask me again after the shipment happens if I'm still excited. Haha. I'm sure mine will be included but I'm trying not to create any expectations.
