Yes,  it was pretty fast! They shipped our case on October 30 and it arrived to the Embassy on November 2nd! Once it left the NVC, I was able to schedule the interview online. The earliest date they had was December 7th and the medical exam is November 19th. How is yours going?

That’s awesome! We are waiting for the next NVC batch to be sent out to the embassies, I’ll hopefully be ready to schedule the interview as soon as it arrives since I’m getting ready in advance! Good luck!!’

That's good! Luckily, the time between the NVC and Embassy gives you time to prepare. You should post your timeline so we can all track your progress :) I hope it will be soon for you that it arrives there...keep staying busy!

I was wondering if you could share your P3 from your Embassy. I use them to help others who will come behind you. Just PM me here on VJ and attach it as a PDF if possible. Thanks.

I'm assuming you passed your interview. if so Congratulations.

I was confused by your timeline. It is "blued out" which means that step has been completed. I never read the small print :jest:

I guess requesting the embassy send the P3 paperwork via email before they receive the case from NVC is not beneficial.

Do they have to get your NVC case first before you can email request that?

You should be able to go to the embassy website for Vietnam and see what what the P3 paperwork would be that you need. I would agree that it does not make sense to email the embassy until you know they received your case, however, it is usually public information you can find through VJ by going to your country's page or by googling P3 for Vietnam.

Maybe it's different per country, but right when the NVC sent our case to the embassy (October 30), we got a notification to schedule our interview and we did it online. Since then, on November 2nd, the embassy received our case. Our interview is not until December 7th but we were able to schedule it right away.

NOA 2 Date of 10/16 still not at the NVC as of today.  When I asked if it's been taking a while lately the woman I spoke to said that it's lately been taking the full 6 weeks because there's been a lot of incoming cases... I don't know if she was just making up something or not.

I called earlier today approximately 7 Eastern Standard time. I spoke to a gentleman who told me that they went in ahead and mailed it November 1st. My noa2 date is October 15. He told me that they have already mailed it from USCIS in California on November 1st and that NVC should have received it by now. I do believe that they are overwhelmed with the requests. I am calling twice a day everyday to check on a case number.

Sincerly,

Alfredo and Denisse

Thanks for the info.  I am assuming you called USCIS and they said they mailed it out as of November 1? Or was it the NVC person that told you this?
