I called today at the NVC and they said they have received my case yesterday. The lady said my case number will be assigned with in the next 8 weeks. Hopefully that is not the case. 

 

My NOA2 is  dated for October 7.

Does the affidavit of support need to be filled with the petitionary’s info? Or can it be filled in with the sponsor if it’s another person?

You need a I-134 for both petitioner and sponsor.

50/50 with Embassies excepting scanned copy. Have you tried asking that question in your subform. That's where you should be now for your next steps. People in the subform for your Embassy will have knowledge and the ability to answer that question.

I guess the only way to find out early if get a case number is by calling...if by signing up to the link Greenbaum linked and entering email address, do they notify you of Case Recieved, number assigned, etc?

 

Another question is does the DS 160 need to be completed in my fiancé’s hometown? I’ve discussed it with her and went over all the questions but am assuming she needs to hit the send button...is it just me, or did I see instructions on that to upload a photo of my fiancé into that as well?

Dont understand if submitted passport photos with I-129, why the need to upload with the DS 160 submission.

Thanks for the assistance. The embassy contacted my fiance today via phone call. We thought they were going to send out a letter via mail/email. Thats something to note for future kingson embassy interviewees.

They are not sending a letter? Mmmmm. How did they communicate what is needed from you for the interview?

They called him to verify the email first, and while on the phone she email the packet.
