I have a question about the 1040 taxes return form. My fiancé sent me this document. But it doesn’t say anything about 1040. I looked some forms in the internet and they looked different. It says 1040 in the left corner.

I’m supposed to send 1040 and w2 of the last tax return for the affidavit. I have the w2 and this document.

Does anyone know if this is valid or equal to a 1040? Or do I need something else?

Thanks a lot!!

That does look like a transcript. Does it have any financial info on the bottom of it? W2 i believe is used to Confirm the 1040 if you use it. Some people use just Transcripts. I used 1040 + W2 + Paystubs+ Employment letter.

It looks like a copy of his filing from online software . That should be acceptable. You can also request an account transcript for free and it will come in like 4-5 days

Yes, it does have financial info at the bottom of it. In my packet 3 they only asked me for 1040 and W2. I also have pay stubs and employment letter, so I can send them all but I don’t know if this document is good to go or I actually need a 1040 😰

i agree. I'd get a transcript online. After waiting 7months, i wouldn't go to interview with any "maybe's"

Ask your fiance for them then. I sent 3 last years of returns (cause i had copies remaining from Naturalization). Otherwise i would've used Transcripts for sure. Try calling embassy and ask specifically what they accept as a proof, or it MUST be 1040 + W2.
My P3 doesn't even specify apart from I-134. NOT EVEN PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP is on P3...

He said that was the only thing he had from this year. I will give them a call tomorrow.  Also, is this the website to get a transcript?

Thank you guys ☺️

They aren't past 10.15 yet.  Calling is a waste of time for you at the moment.   I am 10.20 and I won't call for at least a week

YMMV

Yea thats what I thought, haven't called or sent an email update to NVC. Prolly do around 14-15 November. BTW is it okay to fill I134 and send to my Fiance Already? or it is wise to do after we get the case from NVC?
