Be careful to assure people. Timelines vary. If you look at mine it took almost a month to get my case number. That's not saying others can't get theirs quick as evidence by the time in which you got yours...just be careful.

Like @rye_212 said just got back a few pages. This was posted and reports with directions on how to track through DHL.

I know it depends. But just to give some good vibes. It's either they're react on it or not. Depends on a person reaction.

Hi everyone,

We’ve been silently stalking this forum since January. Finally bit the bullet and filed April 30th for NOA 1 using all the valuable information you guys have provided. We got our NOA2 Oct 24th 🎉🎉

Now, I’m kind of stuck. All this time I had been looking at the I-184...but now realize it’s the I-134....can I file the I-134 with a joint sponsor?

Do you really need a sponsor? Have you check the poverty level chart and compared your household size to it? Are you above or below?

Hi everyone ! They received our packet Oct 31 and they assigned our case number Nov 2. Nov 3 PH date when I called  them and got it. How can we track our case on DHL? I dont know when our case left the NVC.

NOA 2- OCT 8

Check ceac.state.gov and select "immigrant" and then enter your case number and you will know the status. Once you receive your letter from NVC with the case number you can use it to gain access to the medical exam at SLEC. Once you receive the eligibility letter from USEM then you can pay your interview (application) fee and schedule your appointment. Everything else starts to fall in waiting for your completion.

Have you followed the links and information that I have posted for the Philippines?

Well I’m unemployed because I’ve been living in The Bahamas for over 15yrs. I’m looking for a job presently, resigned my position in The Bahamas mid October. We are hoping I secure employment before his interview but just in case...I’m weighing our options. I know an option is to send a letter and evidence that I’m actively looking for a job and that based on my work history, I’d be likely to secure a position paying at or above the requirement. But I truly don’t want to rely on that. My background is Supply Chain & Accounting...as is his. We have 2 kids.

We are now waiting for the next batch to go out by the middle of November. I really wish we can have the interview before Christmas but we are excited! I see you are going to the same embassy. We were looking at hotels near the embassy and looks like the more convenient is Embassy Park. They have airport shuttles, few minutes from the embassy and seems safe.

My packet has not reached NVC yet, and i am eager to get her home for Christmas....b4 new year at the latest.  But this is not happening as fast as i can.  I have worked in the embassy so i know a lot of people there.  Let me tell you the Visa Unit is a bunch of characters.  Dont expect things to go well during the month of December, a lot of them are going to be flying home for christmas and the rest is going on half schedule.  My fiance has friends and family near the embasy in Fontibon and SUBA, so she will be staying with them and doing her last goodbyes.  Then after i plan to fly in January pick her up.

Thats the best case scenario i have planned.  She also took her vaccines as quickly as possible to help get through the lines faster .  We are having to wait to find out about the flu vaccine...since October 1 the embassy has been on a walk in basis.  Meaning all personnel in the embassy can take it when they have time...so i am not sure if they are going to be requiring them to take them and get sick.  Causing further delays to the process.....only time will tell.

@kimme79 Wow! Thank you so much for all the info. Looks like you know pretty much about what's going on there. Based on that it appears that December is going to be very slow. 😑Everything you said makes sense.

When using the CEAC tracker, since they sent my case to the embassy, it says that my case is "in transit" but then says below "your interview date has been provided by the NVC". I don't have an email, neither does my fiance and we don't have any hard copy in the mail. Where should I be looking?

I have checked the NVC site and the site for the embassy in Israel and don't see anything on this or how to retrieve info on what they're referring to. I thought the Embassy schedules the interview for you, not the NVC?

I put the link in the post I made to help you. Select it and follow my directions. If you ask for help and someone spends the time to help, why wouldn't you make the effort to attempt to follow the instructions. Doesn't set a precedent for me to help in the future. If you don't understand then maybe I can explain it differently but throwing your hands is not going to help you get to where your going.
