Well if yours gets approved on 11/12 and cases are leaving for the Embassies on the 11/13-14 then my math is correct.

so what are the exact dates for cases leaving NVC for the embassies,

you were saying it's twice a month right?

so it's on the 11/13-14 and the second date would be 11/27-28 am I correct?

Hi  🤗

@Greenbaum asking about my k2 ..

first,in filing the DS-160, should i fill up a total of 2? one for me and one for my son?

second, someone posted and said "fill up 2 ds-160,and pay separately"

i don't know what is it to pay separately 😃 can someone enlighten me about this?

Yes you will need a second DS=160 for your K2. There will be a place for you to answer question similar to "do you have a second DS-160? to complete; or something like that and it will fill in the form with your information where needed and then you go through and finish it with the K2's information.

For some ODD reason people think that there is a fee for the DS-160 and that is not true. There is no fee for that form. There is an application fee for the interview and a fee for the medical but no FEE for DS-160.

Follow the information from these links for your process in the Philippines. And you should move over to the sub-forum for the Philippines where others can help with specific questions about processing at USEM.

Once you receive your case number and your case has been set to READY at CEAC it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get done. To smooth that trail for you I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

You'll need your Eligibility Letter, which is emailed from USEM. Here is an example of what it looks like http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/embassy-letter.html

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course, it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps, he includes the what, when and why to complete the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next, you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like-minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread is processing through another country they would be hard-pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.

Yes and No. It's every other week (Tuesday and Wednesday) and your dates are correct for the month of November. Keep in mind as with anything to do with this process "your mileage may vary".

Normally once they have your case from USCIS and it is entered in their system then 2-7 business days you can expect your case number.

NOA2 - October 10
NVC Receive - Oct 31

One question:

I'm Italian but I currently live in London. When we filed the petition I pUt as preferred Embassy London, not knowing that I would move back to Italy to gather my documents. Well, I'm leaving in 29 days and my case number starts with LDN...
I sent an email to NVC with my passport copies as well to prove my citizenship and ask for my case to be sent to Naples (as the NVC person suggested) but I was wondering if anyone knows how long this might delay things for us?
we're aware I might still have to go to London after all!

Should be no issue with the transfer,  could take 30 days or so

YMMV

Yes, I've been saving links also.  I now have a big google doc with lists of relevant reference links and to-do for each stage.   People in my own Ireland forum who have recently been through the process have been great in providing info also.  The funniest source of info is that when I went to my GP for vaccinations, it turns out he works with the approved medical center to to do the Medicals!  He knows what a K1 is.

first met late 2016, met 13 more times since. Filed i-129 Apr 14th. NOA2 dated Oct 11th.
