Just called and got straight through. They still haven't received our case yet. How about you @Steve&Chelsea

Trying to not get frustrated that they haven't received our case yet. I know "milage may vary" but people in mid-October are getting case numbers. If cases get sent to the NVC all the time and not just on a twice per month basis then how are others going further in the process if their case was technically "sent" to the NVC after mine...and mine "still hasn't arrived" yet.

I-129F Sent: April 12, 2018

I-129F Received: April 13, 2018 (confirmation by email)

I-129F NOA1: April 18, 2018

I-129F NOA2: October 5, 2018 (received by mail on October 12, 2018)

NVC Received: November 1, 2018

NVC Case Number Assigned: November 2, 2018

Left NVC: November 13, 2018

Arrived at Embassy: November 19, 2018

Packet 3: November 27, 2018

Packet 4: December 14, 2018

Interview: February 7, 2019

Same here! 😢 I called this morning too and unfortunately our case is also still not received!

I'm sure we will hear soon but it is very frustrating when it doesn't go in sequence. Hopefully today.....🙏🙏

The only thing keeping me happy at the moment is that since we missed the NVC to Embassy batch run this week there isn't another one for 2 weeks so whatever day we get it received and allocated a case number in the next few days we should hopefully all end up in the same batch to our Embassies.

That is true. I do think about how the NVC sends out in batches which equals us all out again in the timeline of things. Which is both a pro and a con, but for us now it is a pro.

Hi,

I know that this question doesn't apply exactly to this forum but I thought maybe someone would know... So my question is... I got word that my packet is in transit to the Honduran embassy. So I filled out the DS160 and paid the fee. So now I can schedule an interview. However, they only have two dates up that are available. I'm currently in nursing school and so the two dates are the 5 and 12 of December. I have a flight down but not until the 13 because I have finals the 10 and 11. Does anyone know if they will open up another date? Those are the only two that show up on the calendar. Let me know your thoughts!

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I (beneficiary) received an e-mail from NVC stating:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: NPL**********  filed by ****** ********** on behalf of *******  ***********.  The NVC completed its processing of this visa petition, and forwarded it to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in NAPLES ITALY.

We forwarded your immigrant visa petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate on 30-OCT-2018.

My question is: can I schedule the interview or do I have to wait for the consulate to contact me?

Hi Matt! Not sure what to say about your question, but I see you're an Italian filer too! We have a support group on FB for Italian fiances on facebook, if you'd like to join! :)

I just tracked my case and it appears “Ready” but I havent received any Packet 3 yet and as far as I read in Spain we need it in order to get an interview appointment. But now since it says ready I’m confused. Is this what other people will get but I actually need to wait for that P3? 😖

Called NVC back and they entered my case yesterday and I have a case number. We're getting there slowly but surely!!!

If anyone happens to be reading this right now (7:15 am Mountain time) there is no wait on the phone lines and you get right through.

Guys, I have a question. In the list of Required documents for the interview my embassy wants me to bring petitioner's financial documents ( copies of W-2 form, and then I-134 form, bank statement and employment letter)

Is it okay just to bring copies or my fiancé has to send me original I-134 form, bank statement and employment letter?

Thank you in advance!

Greenbaum already started the November thread. Might be best to start there as a lot of people will be going through same process in Nov and easy for you to compare notes there rather than here...however there are some good pages of notes as long as you don’t mind reading them all

Hey guys! I'm here... I have a question, how much does it usually take for a case to be assigned a number? Does it really take up to 8 weeks?
