I know you guys posted about biweekly shipments but I was reading this forum and didn't see anything about mid October shipment, that's why i asked. Also was wondering how upcoming holidays will affect on this. Anyway, thanks a lot.

I recieved the same today, however when I scrolled down it said "In the subject line of your email, please type the original receipt number from your I-130 Approval Notice."

Which is odd since it's supposed to be I-129F. Can you please cross check yours?

Ok, let me clear up some confusion.

if you scroll all way down to the email you will see your information that you had input to the NVC website with your email address. It is the instructions on page 1 Greenbaum states to sign up. When you put your email addresses in the question box, this is the email they send back. Has nothing to do with my phone call...sorry for confusion 🤪

Looks to be just the confirmation email back that you signed up with emails and they said they don’t have case yet

I’m guessing you’ve spent quite a bit of money traveling back and forth to visit your fiancé and go through this process.....maybe you should treat yourself to a decent cell

provider. I have Sprint with unlimited everything for $75 month and free to use when I go to Vietnam because they partner with Viettel there and no need for a  SIMS card.  I’ve never heard of a cell phone not being able to be on hold for a long period of time.

When I received email of NOA2 approval, I followed advice here to go to NVC site and input email address. On Monday this week, I called NVC to ask a simple question about whether need hard copy of NVC letter for embassy interview or not (which I was informed did not need). So this morning I receive this email below 👇

I didn’t provide my email address when talk to the NVC on phone...I only gave them the WAC number....so surprised when I got this email this morning...at least it confirms that when I went to input my email address that they have it and will know when they receive my file 🙂

I also got this email.  I'd filed the AskNVC the day after I got my NOA2, and got the email from NVC saying they had no record about a week later.  I re-submitted the AskNVC, hoping they'll have something in a week or so, by the time they get to this more recent AskNVC submission.

My NOA2 is about the same time as your's.  I got an email notification on 10/22, but the hardcopy shows 10/19.

Perhaps I should have waited another week.  Hrm.

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I (beneficiary) received an e-mail from NVC stating:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: NPL**********  filed by ****** ********** on behalf of *******  ***********.  The NVC completed its processing of this visa petition, and forwarded it to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in NAPLES ITALY.

We forwarded your immigrant visa petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate on 30-OCT-2018.

My question is: can I schedule the interview or do I have to wait for the consulate to contact me?

I got this yesterday :

Dear Sir/Madam:

Thank you for your inquiry. We do not have a record of receiving your petition.

It can take at least six weeks for the National Visa Center (NVC) to receive an approved petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and enter it in the U.S. Department of State's database system. If it has been less than six weeks since USCIS approved your petition, you don't need to take any action at this point.

If USCIS approved your petition more than six weeks ago, please send us a scanned copy of your I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action - Approval Notice. You can attach the scanned copy to an email, and send it tonvcresearch@state.gov.

In the subject line of your email, please type the original receipt number from your I-130 Approval Notice. If you have more than one petition, send a separate email for each petition. Once we receive the copy of your approval notice, we will contact USCIS to find your petition.

Before you send us an email, please check your Notice of Action and make sure it says your petition was approved. If it says that USCIS kept your petition, or if it is a notice other than an approval, you should contact USCIS for more information. You can contact them on their website at uscis.gov, or by telephone at 1-800-375-5283.

My question is, will they still update my email address as requested or will I need to send the request again. @Greenbaum

I don't need ur advice on buying a decent phone... The question was geared toward Lucy&Jason....not you miss me with your shady comments... I have a cell company that has unlimited everything if you don't have anything helpful or of use to say pls keep scrolling past my post and of course u have never heard of a cell phone being able to hold on.... bcuz That is not what I was saying...reading is fundamental and understanding is another.... Hey my friend finally got my Google voice to work and I just got off the phone with them... They said that they just received my case today Oct. 31st but has yet to be assigned a case number....so I assume I should try back tomorrow. I'm so happy for you that your case is in transit have u checked the interview schedule to see the turn around time of getting an interview once the embassy receives it?

I use skype with credit loaded up and am charged 1 eur cent per minute.  Their rates are based on the country you are calling to, not the country you are calling from.

first met late 2016, met 13 more times since. Filed i-129 Apr 14th. NOA2 dated Oct 11th.
