My point is that I only got that email because I called them on Monday to ask a simple question unrelated to my case. They then sent me that email I shared and they only got my email because I used the link that Greenbaum shared. I’m just sharing the fact that it does work. If you call them and ask questions, then you will get an email like the one I shared..

I have called them about my case as well. :)

Misunderstood my post...not annoy me at all...that’s not purpose of this site...was simply pointing out that it does work and very easy to sign up..

if anyone would ever feel annoyed that would be Greenbaum but I don’t speak for him and I’m guessing he is not annoyed because he is always so helpful and answering same questions all the time. I would say rather Greenbaum is amused...but definitely not annoyed. Anyone here is just trying to help anyone else..that’s all. I learned along time ago that you can never exactly judge tone and attitude in a text or email unless someone used all CAPS and exclamations 👍😉

Greenbaum is the hero here. He helped me a lot as well. Answering dumb and confusing questions.
So as much i learned from him, read what he replied to others, i try to help him out by answering questions, that i know a correct answer to. This helps to clear up repetitive questions, so he'd be able to help those, who have bigger issues than "Can't seem to find how to send an email to NVC" (no offense to anyone, just an example).
I do not have access to P3's etc, but i'll do my best to help alongside Greenbaum as much as i can, without misleading. If i'm not sure of part of the question, i just tag Greenbaum in that case, or he'll add something himself if i miss something. But most of the info i know is from Greenbaum.
Just my .02
As always, Big thanks to @Greenbaum

Patience grasshopper. You're in the que just not at the front of the line. You won't receive a confirmation. You'll know when you receive the first update. Your mileage may vary.

When I received email of NOA2 approval, I followed advice here to go to NVC site and input email address. On Monday this week, I called NVC to ask a simple question about whether need hard copy of NVC letter for embassy interview or not (which I was informed did not need). So this morning I receive this email below 👇

I didn’t provide my email address when talk to the NVC on phone...I only gave them the WAC number....so surprised when I got this email this morning...at least it confirms that when I went to input my email address that they have it and will know when they receive my file 🙂

I recieved the same today, however when I scrolled down it said "In the subject line of your email, please type the original receipt number from your I-130 Approval Notice."

Which is odd since it's supposed to be I-129F. Can you please cross check yours?

There is no reason to cross check. You are a I-129f K-1 visa applicant so any reference to anything other then I-129f and I-134 should be ignored.

well, you MIGHT get an email in that scenario.   Things are not consistent.  "your mileage may vary"!!

This process can be overwhelming. It was for me when we did ours but with the help of people who have already ventured down that road they are kind enough to provide their time to help. The best recommendation I can give is this. Read the first page of the thread as I post answers to questions that get asked 100's of time. Yes I get annoyed once in a while that most do not take the time to research or read (most are saying HI look at me, we are the same, hope it goes fast, I am so confused). They want it NOW. Next skip ahead begin reading at about pg 5 and read through page 10 as the GOOD questions are being asked and answered. After that it becomes whining time till they get the information that they have been approved and case number assigned and their file is in transit. Then once that happens, a few days later complaining sets in because the Embassy did this or they haven't done that. And the one I love "what do I do now" question. They haven't even made an attempt to go to their country's Embassy website and search for the answer.

Ok. I feel better   Good luck and ask your questions as you never know if it has been asked before if you haven't found an answer yourself or you don't understand something.

Hah. :)   For us, we then move on to our local Embassy forum.  For Greenbaum its off to November NVC, and rinse, repeat.
