When is your interview in Jakarta? I heard its fast to get one there. Also heard its easy to "pass" in Jakarta, you know if thats true?

My interview will be in Madrid, Spain lol

I don’t have idea about the Jakarta one but I’m pretty sure there are some people from that Embassy here. 😃

Update #2 today :Got my estimated delivery to embassy, as per @Greenbaum's method. Pretty cool! Friday should be in Vilnius, LTU :whistle:

I tried using the method but it told me no results so I must have done something wrong lol. *shrug* it'll get there when it gets there.

It did for me too most of the day today. Either:
1. You did something wrong (lol)
2. They haven't gave it to DHL yet.

3. DHL Hadn't scanned it yet.

Try later today. or tomorrow morning 🤞

The current I-134 affidavit of support form on https://www.uscis.gov/i-134 has an expiry date of Nov 30, 2018.    Most of us here will be doing interviews AFTER November, I would guess.

Thoughts? @Greenbaum

first met late 2016, met 13 more times since. Filed i-129 Apr 14th. NOA2 dated Oct 11th.

• We have seen that sometimes they will renew a form that expires and we have seen it continue to be used until such time as a new form is release. In any event, they will most likely use the start date of the new rendition of that form and they will tell you when they will discontinue a form. All updates to forms can be tracked here: https://www.uscis.gov/forms-updates  If you see a form that will soon expire and it may expire after it's intended use (Embassy interview) then it's best to wait till you are closer to your interview.

IMO we can use the one with 11/30 exp date, even if it will pass that to the point when they update it with new exp date, or updated form.

I called even though I'm seeing all the results of you other Oct 5th people. No fear, it's the same for me. Case still not received. :cry:

October 5ths will get our cases soon!! I’ll try calling Friday. That will be 29 days. Seems lucky for me as that was how long it took for them to process our insanely simple RFE lol. After 8 months for NOA2 we can make it a few more weeks. At this point we missed the end of October shipment to embassies, so if we get our case numbers in the next week we should be in the mid-November shipment and at embassies by end of November! Fingers crossed!!

You asked and I delivered. Use this little tool to see when your case will arrive. Keep in mind this is ALL cases for Ukraine, Poland not just yours but they all go together. So if one arrives they all arrive.

Go to www.dhl.com click Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, and on this page you add your search information. You change the day and month to what you think your package might have left NVC or call NVC to get the date your package had left NVC in route to Manila then go to the DHL website and enter the following information:

EXAMPLE:

* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A  (This is the date you think it left NVC, just substitute the date leave everything else as is)

* Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011

* Date range for shipment - To: 26 - 03 - 2011

Account Number - Leave this blank

Shipment Destination: Manila / Works for any Country Just add the city where the Embassy is located

Is this applicable to us too?

Just got off the phone with NVC. The man I talked to said they received my file this morning but haven't entered it into the system yet, so no case number. I'm an October 4th approval.

Also, interesting that he explained to me that K1 visas are considered "expedited visas" and the NVC doesn't really do anything to them other than enter information into their system and ship it off to the embassy. So I was really encouraged to hear that, I'm so ready for all of this to be over. (Everyone I've talked to at NVC has been super nice, by the way.)

That's not necessarily true. They do quickly turn the case around as far as assigning case number. But overall they only ship twice a month typically. Every other week the shipments leave NVC for the Embassies. The latest shipments left this week so it's two more weeks before they will leave NVC again.
