But....I've got a horrible feeling we wont. Something is taking a long time with all these October cases going from USCIS to NVC.

 

I had been monitoring and most people were getting case numbers about 15-16 days after their NOA2 notification. Then when it got to October everything seems to have stopped with the exception of maybe a couple of very lucky people who have got their case numbers by now.

Up to now NVC has been reporting "not received from USCIS" for many October NOA2s, including ours.  So even if they received the files late yesterday or today, I think it usually takes a further few days until NVC assign a case number.  So I don't expect my case number today.

For Ireland, as I understand what I've read on here, the Packet3 the Embassy will issue by email includes a Notice of Readiness form which I need to complete. When I submit that notice they will give me a link to schedule an interview. 

 

But I also found the link for scheduling somewhere and so I think I could create an account on there and schedule interview anyhow.  But I will not do this until I have first scheduled my medical and know how quickly after the medical they will have the medical report ready.   Might schedule my medical later this week.

The NVC received our case yesterday and later that day we got our case number. 

NOA2 was on October 3rd (hard copy), got the text message on October 4th. 

Yours will follow soon, don’t worry.

Ohhhh my god im jumping i recieve the reply from nvc they give me manilacase number...i inquire oct.22 and exactly 2 weeks since we recieve the hardcopy of approval hope this is the start and every one here get there case number also...

You need to select "immigrant" and not "non-immigrant". Should work.

 

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Usually about 3 days. You won't know as they do not confirm until such time as you receive the first email then you will know.
