I received an email from NVC this morning since I signed up there to update our email in their system - no case # yet but at least I know it works and if 3 weeks is the average, we should get our new case # next week, our NOA2 was dated 10/10.

That's great! Good luck! I will call around Nov 7 to ask if they have a case # for our case because that marks 3 weeks for us. Fingers crossed!!

@Greenbaum is there a list of vaccinations adults need to get for the visa? I remember getting vaccinated when I was a kid.

I think it depends on your embassy. I found a list of vaccinations in the website of where I have to get the Medical test done but I’m not sure if it’s the same for everyone. I’m providing you mine just in case.

http://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/civil/vaccination-civil-technical-instructions.html#tbl1  The medical facility that you will use for your visa well through a series of questions, physical skin observation and the use of blood test if necessary will help determine what vaccinations you will need. If you have any information that will help the medical staff to determine what and when you had a vaccination will help but not necessary.

The vaccination list is controlled through CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)  and is the guide that EVERY medical center processing visas must adhered to.

@Greenbaum is there a list of vaccinations adults need to get for the visa? I remember getting vaccinated when I was a kid.

I have been using this URL listing vaccinations from some post here on VJ.

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/vaccinations.html

The approved medical tester in Ireland requires that I bring a list of vaccine history.

I think I got MMR vaccinated as a kid - but there are no records (or relatives) to consult.

I am seeing my own GP doc later this week to review the list.  I'm told that he can do a blood test to determine if I have had MMR vaccinations.

I got a further series of vaccines in my 20s as I was travelling to certain regions.  I've contacted that travel office and they have a list of what I had.  It included Tetanus and Hep  A.  They seem a little reluctant to give me a printout without having me see their doctor again, but I will get advice from my GP.

I am told I will need to get a Tetanus and Hep A booster.  I will need to get the Flu vaccine.   Will review all this with my GP.

When I have met with my GP AND i have the case number from the NVC I am going to go ahead and schedule my medical with the Ireland medical tester.  They have an online form for requesting an appointment and it includes an area to add the USA embassy interview appointment.  But I am not going to wait for the Embassy Packet3, I will just quote the NVC ref and then call them to make sure they are ok with my online request.

Book my medical this weekend and will have it next Saturday.  My case should be in October 31 batch shipment and will be in my embassy in one week based on the timeline from someone from Indonesia. I just heard the embassy is in renovation so the waiting line for the interview might be tricky. But I have prepared all docs even before they send me P3. So we're pretty much set
