When you return from your trip and you are at your interview then you can offer the trip information to the CO. If the CO wants the information then you can share it with them at that time. The DS-160 is always getting changed by others with their CO's so it will not be a big deal.

What about Vietnam?

Once you get confirmation to your interview date, print of a couple of screen shots as you may need one to get you into the medical. I have no idea if any of this works for Barbados but it does work for the Philippines. Get back to me with what happens. Would like to add that to my Barbados notes so when the next persons ask I can inform them.

First you want to complete the DS-160 and NOT the DS-260.

I believe that you can pay your interview fee and schedule your interview before your record is set to "Ready" at your embassy. If you make the attempt and either of two things will happen 1) the website will not let you or the 2) is once you schedule it and the Embassy didn't like what you did, then they will cancel it and inform you with a "slap on the hands". No big deal. The man who owns the gold makes the rules.

Will do. My research so far has had answers all over the place lol. So would love to support providing clearer guidance for future filers.

Ok so I have updated my email

with NVC so I’m assuming I need to wait for a case number before “helping”

my fiancé with the DS-160.

I”m curious what exactly is a packet 3?

can my get her police background check now, or is there some special form that the embassy provides that her hometown police must fill out? Also, when can she get the medical check?

thanks for any intel here...kind of foggy at this stage

@Greenbaum hi sir .. just wanna ask about "eligibility letter"? I've seen a lot of post on facebook visa journey group regarding eligibility letter, they said their interview got rescheduled because they didn't have the eligibility letter  during their interview .. they also said you shouldn't book your medical and interview appointment unless you have eligibility letter ... I'm quite confused about it ..  is the eligibility letter the NVC letter or it's different? I'm from Philippines by the way .. thank you 😁
