Hey all. So I got my nvc case number but now I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do. Could someone help me out?

You can track your case on:
https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

When it says "ready" that means the case is in the embassy and you can contact them for more instructions. "in transit" means, well.. That the case is in transit to the embassy:D
Depending on embassy/consulate, some allow to take medical exams with case number, i'm pretty sure you can fill out the DS-160 as well. I know mine doesn't allow to do anything besides DS-160, which i think is pointless to do now.
Basically it lets you start planning out and get ready. Affidavit of support, Police certificates, other stuff.

Morning from C.R!

I called the NVC this morning, and no case received yet. My NOA2 date is October 5th. I thought by now they would have it, but I guess I'll have to wait. Anyone else with me? At this point we need some hope and good news since there's a wedding scheduled for Dec 29th!!

We are in the same position. NOA2 October 2 and they haven’t received it yet. We last called on Friday and we are going to call later in the evening just in case they get it today.

Hopefully we will be in the States before Christmas!! :)

Very bad idea to plan wedding on specific dates with Fiance visa.. LTU embassy is really quick. From P3 to visa in hand (assuming medical wont be busy) around a week. But even we don't have any specific date, besides "Some time november-december, and we're really close.
Call them tonight around 10-11pm EST, monday's usually have more movement than rest of the week.

I mean... depending on how you see it! Like yeah, not the best idea, but a 150 something people wedding can't be planned in a month or so. Anyways, CR embassy is super fast as well... and we still have time! I just wanted to know if there were people in the same situation we are in! :D

Well, you're going the "hardcore" way lol

We'll do the party later on. We wanna get everything settled first with paperwork, documents, and so on. So it's gonna be small, private ceremony with couple friends, and family.
