You can break it down in the letter but USCIS knows the correct amount if you file all three. Be careful what you read as sometimes their can be something in the background that the OP did not release other then "that they got their packet sent back".

USCIS doesn't care at filing stage about ties together. You just got married on K-1 and filed AoS, not much is expected.
They'll ask for that stuff for the interview.

I'm not sure whether i have it anymore. Google it. I used one from google i think, maybe VJ's search, don't remember. It's a generic cover letter that breaks down what's in the package, similar to one that you sent with I-129f

Quote form OP's original post:  If we are late and can’t file our marriage/adjustment of status by the K1 expiration, is this okay? Does anyone know if we NEED to file our marriage/status change BEFORE the k1 visa expiration? Ours expires on April 15th and we got married in the 90 day time frame but am waiting on my 2018 tax returns from my accountant to file for the I-864, AoS, EAD, AP..we are cutting it really close and am not sure if this is going to be a problem. 

 

 

They are not at the I-129f filing stage. They have had their K-1 visa approved. The OP is asking about AOS after marriage and the impact that the K-1 expiry date has on this process. It does not have an affect.

 

The way the question was written can be confusing. It was for me till I checked their timeline and I knew where they were in the process and what they meant by their question hence my answer.

Who are you answering to?  For anyone to follow your "answer" to a post it's best you quote the post. I see you are struggling with this as you quoted me in another post but I believe you wanted to opine to the OP of that question.

When you respond to a post just use the "Quote" (*2) at the end of the post. That will populate to a new window where below the quote and outside the quoted text you can type your message. That way the individual knows that you have answer/have a question concerning their topic.

 

If you just want to post something to an individual without a quote then use the "@" sign then begin typing, in the box at the end of the page, their nick name and you should see it populate to a little window that you can choose their nik. Good luck and I hope this helps navigate the thread and posts in a much easier way.

 

There is a box on the very bottom that says "reply to this topic" where you can start your post to someone using the "@" sign without quoting a topic. 

 

If you want to add more then one person to a post just use the "+" sign (*1) at the end of their post, select it, then go to the next post you want to quote and again use the "+" sign to select. If you are ready to add your reply then in the bottom right corner you can make your selection and a new "canvas" with their post's are ready for your reply.

My husband (through K1 Visa) is applying for his green card, EAD and AP but he needs health insurance. Obviously, he cannot work and get health benefits until he gets an EAD and my insurance through work is over $800 a month to add him on. Does he qualify for medicaid? What other kinds of (affordable) health insurance can he get? Has anyone had any experience with this?

He doesn't need health insurance to file the AOS packet.  If you are asking in general about insurance you can Google Obama Care which is a good place to start.

If you are filing AOS you should be in that forum as you are pretty much complete on the subject of this thread.
