This is so awful.

I got an response from the embassy and they told me that the issues have been fixed and i should schedule a new interviewappointment. But I can’t schedule an appointment without paying the 265 fee again... that’s a joke honestly. Instantly replied to the email, nothing. Can’t even call them.

I saw you have your interview tomorrow. I hope this got resolved!! I’m thinking of you.  Fingers crossed!

Thank you so much. Yeah luckily when I reached out I told them to give me the next appointment even if it’s the next day in the morning. And they did. I’m driving since 3.30am now. Appointment is 9.30

You worry TOO MUCH. :bonk: It's normal. Sit back and relax. :clock: Your visa is coming.

When your status changes from immigrant to non-immigrant your visa will be issued within days and that is what just happened (normally). I guess I might be a little knowledgeable about this. :D

I know I'm probably the same. I worry too much, but that's just the way I am. I got approved a week ago and my status is issued. My friend who was with me got her visa today, but mine wasn't ship with hers. I'm just wondering is there ever a chance that a status issue will still get denied? Or go back to AP? I'm just asking because I know we shouldn't have done it but we did, we already booked my ticket to the US on the 19th of February, hoping I'll  have my visa by then, but someone told me it can still get denied. I suddenly got worried. Thank you if you could please tell me if it's possible?

Relax. If you were approved and it says issued, i doubt that there were any problems. And packages are not sent at the same time. It could say issued for both you and your friend. His sent same day, yours next. Differences in location, DHL offices etc. There are a lot of variables why your is taking longer. Patience. Your embassy is pretty busy and a lot of visas are issued.

Denied after being approved is probably rare, so i wouldn't worry about that. Rather when you get the visa, make sure the visa is without mistakes. My fiance got her passport back and MY name (petitioner) was wrong, but they immediately changed it right there and then. But the difference is, she went to pick up the passport, as she worked 5mins away from embassy, and embassy in Lithuania isn't very busy (ESTA and low number of people in LTU in general).

Just relax and give it some time. You waited for months, now couple days are throwing you off. You got your flight in a month, i can almost guarantee you'll get your passport back by then.

Everything went well, except that my heart dropped to the floor again when the lady at the entrance couldnt find my name on her list and needed to call someone. She looked at me so confused when i gave her the email appointment confirmation and not what we usually have where the fee number and stuff is on there..

Then i went through all the steps again until i needed to sit down. On the screen it said number 604 was about to be interviewed and then 2 minutes after i sat down, the bell rang again and my number 609 came up. I was already worried on how long I am gonna wait because there were a lot of people there and from the numbers, there would have been 4 more interviews before it was my turn. So I went over to him and he told me sorry again for the hassle and thank you for coming back. Then i needed to raise my hand to take the oath and put my fingers on the scanner. He said: perfect. you will get your passport back next week, youre approved.

I was so happy and asked again: you have everything you need now? and he said: yes!

Im so glad I was being able to fix this within a week, because the past days have just been depressing. I really thought imma just get stuck in AP for months. Was really sick to my stomach before going inside the embassy too.

GLAD ITS OVER. well... i dont have my passport yet, so hahahaha.

It is very rare that USEM denies a visa once it has been set to "issued". In 5 years of being here I have heard of only one case out of the THOUSANDS that process though USEM. Yes you are overthinking this. Just because something happens to someone else doesn't mean it will hold true for you. USEM is usually a few weeks out sometimes in delivering passports/visa.

Thank you very much for the reply. I finally just couldn't help it and called them. Which I'm glad I did. They said my visa was handed to 2go for delivery today and just wait for their text. Praise God I called and I got your message, because I feel way better now. Thank you once again and God bless!

Like I tell ppl - Trust the process.

Good luck and safe travels. You should like AZ as there are so many places to visit. The GRAND CANYON is in your back yard and should be a delight to explore. Weather at times is much like the Philippines.

Mine made the same change today.  I am hoping it means that they are getting ready to hand off the passport+visa to the delivery agent.

It means your visa is on it's way or ready for pickup. Follow any directions received after interview when you were checking out.
