Form I-134  affidavit of support expired 11/30/2018. Will this be an issue for an upcoming interview?

The 'expiration date' is for internal government purposes only. It's still the current edition of the form.

So it will be an issue only if they actually release a new version a reasonable amount of time before the interview; I'm going to mail a copy using this version to Anastasia this weekend.

If you have had it "constantly" the "past two weeks" it sounds like you are refershing pretty often yourself. Maybe you should relax and stop checking constantly so as not to clog the system for those who aren't two weeks before interview...

Lol.

Once a day, for 14days won’t do harm as much, as 5times in 10minutes for next 7days.

I have no reason to open ceac tracker anymore.

You should breathe and relax, and not take everything said personally and literally.

Me and @Greenbaum were called names already, so nothing surprises me anymore.

If i’m pointing something out, i’m doing it for a reason, not to make fun or annoy anyone. I can say anything you want to hear, or i can say the truth, so take that any way you want. It’s not a compassion forum as mentioned by one person here. It’s a DIY forum to help with immigration process. People ask, we answer. If you have anything personal, i’m not interested. Im interested in helping people and explaining why this or that happens, even if it makes me sound like a douche.

lol, @PaulMac @Greenbaum amen to that! Some people just want to hear what they want to hear and not the truth.

On a personal note - I'm grateful for this site because it's a resource. The people who join have to realize no one on here works for USCIS or NVC or Embassies. And if they did if wouldn't be smart to disclose it on here. But back to my point, the process can seem stressful, but if you take it brick by brick it's less stressful. People have to realize Rome wasn't built in a day, and the K1 process isn't an overnight success. Use the site as a resource and be respectful. READING is a very critical part of this entire process.....Just my 2 cents.

Patiently awaiting the interview,

MeuAmor

Are you going to First night this year?

I'm not a NY reveler so as usual my wife and I will stay home and have a meal together and be with each other. I am always concerned with the drivers that are drinking and driving. I hear though it's a very good time in the downtown area of Raleigh.

I have some questions about DS160 Form:

How long will you stay in US?

So, if its supossed that the fiance will stay there for a long time cause this is for living, what should we write in that question?

Thank you so much

I don't recall seeing that question when filling out the form.

Maybe look over the previous questions because follow up questions pop up based on what you answered.

You don't get a passport without citizenship.   Countries don't hand out passports like candy

You are now asking questions concerning the process for your Embassy. I high doubt that someone from Germany, Spain, or South Africa will be able to help. So, I recommend that you follow the link below to the sub-forum for your country where others from the UK are discussing matters to do with the process there every day.

Just wanted to update everyone and share the positive news of our Interview APPROVAL. For those who are nervous, (although I can't speak for everyone's case), please try not to be--because it was extremely straight forward and easy.

They didn't even open the notebook with all of our paperwork in it--we had our evidence with pictures and documents supporting our relationship and they didn't even look at them.

They only asked for the I-134, tax returns, the medical, the DS160 confirmation page, the approved I-129F, passport pictures, birth certificate & military discharge.

The only questions asked were:

1) How did you two meet?

2) When was the last time you saw each other?

3) What do you do for a living?

Done & approved.

Be confident, know your relationship, and don't go crazy putting together TONs of evidence (we only had 15 pictures and proof of our joint bank account--no need to provide Skype screenshots, WhatsApp conversations etc) these officers usually have a good "gut feeling" about each case so they pretty much know their answer before they even meet you (since they've reviewed your paperwork a few minutes prior).

Again, everyone's case is different and it's always better to have "more" just in case but likely, it won't be needed.

Good luck everyone!!

Congratulations on your approval! Did you guys front load your petition? @Abbey B

You have to live in your home country for 2 years after a J-1 visa, before you can be eligible for a K visa issue. You could try to get a waiver if that 2 years hasn't passed.  https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/study/exchange/waiver-of-the-exchange-visitor.html
