Thank you!  I received my email that is was being sent at 10PM in the evening on the 28th so I am not sure it would have left earlier that day?  Is there another one from the following day?  I believe they sent notices out 27th and the 28th last week?

yes you just have to add the certification that the person translating is capable in both language...

SAMPLE TRANSLATION CERTIFICATIONS

Select one of the following Certifications, modify with entries in yellow, print it on a separate sheet, sign it and have it notarized, and then provide to the Visa Office the documents in the following order: the English translation, the foreign copy, and the translation certificate. The Visa Office cannot notarize documents for you – this must be done before the documents are submitted to us.

To be used when the Applicant translates the document him or herself and a third person (not the applicant, but someone else) reviews the translation to confirm that it is true and accurate:

I, FULL LEGAL NAME, hereby certify that I reviewed the attached documents. I further certify that the English translation of the LANGUAGE document appears, to the best of my abilities, to be true and accurate. I further certify that I am competent in both English and LANGUAGE to render and certify such translation.

FULL LEGAL NAME

Sworn to before me this ___ day of ______________ 20___

Certified simply means adding the attestation block to the end of the translation

Well, just an update.  Interview is scheduled for Thursday and we are stressed and scared.  We're both not sleeping and we're snappy.  Today, she did her labs and fingerprints.  Tomm the medical exam.   I can't concentrate and work, it's pretty bad.   I sent her so much paper...I'm going to bury them in everything:  relationship evidence (about 25 pics, engagement ring receipts, hotel and flight receipts for the period from April - November (I've been just about every other month...average 6 weeks apart)  financial info (3 months paystubs, employment letter, 2 years of tax returns and W2), Intent letters.   She is an absolute wreck..she's not from Bogota and is alone in a hotel for 4 days.  I wish I could have gone to be with her, but tomorrow is an important day at my job and I just couldn't do it.  We would have scheduled for later, but there are no more appointments for this month.    Not worried about documents, she's just scared of the interview.   Sigh.

Chillax, it'll be alright. You have waaaaay too much evidence, so there is nothing bad in that. She should go out and have a drink or ROOM SERVICE STREAK!
I can assure you, interview will go alright. Nothing to be worried about too much. Be confident, smile and it will fly by!
Good luck guys!

Trust me, we've done the practice runs so much she's sick of me.  I'm fastidio now, lol.   I even throw off the wall questions to her which aren't likely to be asked. (What's his mom's name and where does she live.  His brother?  sisters?  And how many?) etc etc

I got her a nice hotel just for that reason..so she could relax, get some room service, watch movies or whatever.   Last night she just cried as we were putting the docs in order.   She's always been strong willed and this is the first time she's been like this.
