I was able to book the interview on the https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-it/iv/information/k_visa website as instructed by the letter received from NVC and already received the confirmation, but the CEAC still shows “in transit”.

The pouch reached the Consulate in Italy on Nov., 30th and the above website didn’t let me book the interview until that day so I went ahead thinking everything was ok.

Should I worry about something or am I just overthinking?? lol

I think you're over thinking this step. What are uou questioning?

That's normal. Ready means that your case is ready to be adjudicated/interview at the embassy.

Close you browser and try again. If that fails then try a different browser. If neither of those work then the website is probably being updated or too many people accessing the website at the same time.

Glad to know I'm not the only one obviously on edge. Of course I wrote an email to them this morning asking and then wrote back and said "never mind." Feel like SUCH an idiot!! He already sent it back today in the mail so hopefully the P4 will come soon and he can get the interview scheduled. It's so nice for it to be moving!!

Also they returned our actual application to my fiance. On the application was written a note about my divorce not being a long time ago. It was finalized July 2017 but obviously I was separated for a long time before that. Is that odd?? I wonder if they will ask about that in the interview!

Did you include the divorce paperwork with the initial petition? They will most definitely ask about it, especially if it was marked up.
If you didn't include anything in initial petition, get ready and send him as much papers, proving that you're officially divorced since the date you mentioned.

i've never heard about the i-129f being send to the fiance at embassy stage, maybe @Greenbaum does.
will need more info to see if the divorce will be an scrutinized, but will definitely be brought up in the interview, for sure.

Yup, thats the case of "I'll refresh every 2mins if i want to", that we had an argument about...
Different browsers won't help, i've had this constantly for the past 2 weeks before interview. Very few times it would actually load quickly.

Check back in an hour or so. I'd say after lunch break on East Coast :) 1-2pm should work best i'd say.
That happens when servers get overloaded, and their cache, memory and other stuff gets close to being filled, along with increased people's traffic.
So the amount of people viewing, has little to do with it. It has to do with the requests to load the page (refreshing very often for example). That's why most large websites has Captcha and other "security" measures. To delay the refresh, load times, and ease the load of the servers.
Might be wrong somewhere, but in a sense, that's the reason why CEAC tracker got slow.

Basically my question is: why the CEAC shows “in transit” even if I already have the confirmation from the Italian Consulate that my interview is scheduled and the visa fees are paid?

Probably is just the CEAC website not being updated.

For those whose petitions were a part of the 11.28 shipment to Manila, delivery to the embassy occurred today.  Our ceac status has already changed to ready

YMMV

The consular probably received electronic notification of you file in advance of the physical file arriving.   If the petition left nvc on 11.27 then the physical petition probably just arrived today.   They are two independent processes

Yes of course I sent my divorce certificate. We will see what happens! No idea why they sent the whole application back. That was unexpected.

I'd call embassy to make sure why that happened. When sending back the whole package, include the divorce cert once again to make sure. I'd have one copy to interview as well.

You asked and I delivered. Use this little tool to see when your case will arrive. Keep in mind this is ALL cases for Ukraine, Poland not just yours but they all go together. So if one arrives they all arrive.

Go to www.dhl.com click Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, and on this page you add your search information. You change the day and month to what you think your package might have left NVC or call NVC to get the date your package had left NVC in route to Manila then go to the DHL website and enter the following information:

EXAMPLE:

* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A  (This is the date you think it left NVC, just substitute the date leave everything else as is)

* Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011

* Date range for shipment - To: 26 - 03 - 2011

Account Number - Leave this blank

Shipment Destination: Manila / Works for any Country Just add the city where the Embassy is located

I tried this for Canada and I got back nothing.  I was not able to add the city (Montreal) just Canada??
