Hey guys!

We got our NOA2 last week, Does anyone know how much time is NVC approx taking right now?

HELP!

Our wedding is supposed to be on December 29th, and I'm having faith!

hi!
Approx 2 weeks to receive, and add another 2 weeks for processing and forwarding to Embassy. Some get sooner, some get later.
What is Your consulate/Embassy?

Now, I do not have a mailing address and I know I have to update my case with my email address, When would it be the best time to do it?

I did it right after i received NOA2, just shoot NVC an email through their website so they would have it on their systems. (the form contains USCIS case number, Petitioners' and Beneficiary's names, Beneficiary's birth date) i guess all that tracks back to the case that they will receive :)
10-14 days after NOA2 you can start calling whether they have received Your case.

They don't use Automatic response system, atleast it didn't seem like that. So it might take a couple days, mine took almost a week to get a reply. You're doing alright, relax and get the whole K1 out of your head for a bit! :)

Currently it's been taking about 2 weeks for USCIS to send the file to NVC. Then it's been taking about 2-3 weeks for NVC to assign the case number. Then it's taking another 2-3 week depending on the Embassy to receive your case. Your mileage may vary!

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

If it takes 2 weeks for them to send my file to NVC and another 2-3 weeks to assign a case number, then why would I call after 10 business days to see if they have my case number? That’s confusing!

Wait 10 business days from NOA2 before calling NVC to get a case number. Emailing for updates keeps you off the phone. Google askNVC.
