Please i have two questions to ask while filling the  DS-160 forms for K1 visa

1. Application Receipt/Petition Number where do I find this number

2. Intended Date of Arrival  how do I know what date to put. My case is with NVC waiting for the next shipment next week.

Thank you

Happy thanksgiving everyone.

For the beneficiaries on this thread, I can safely predict that this time next year most of us will be having turkey with our loved one in the US.   And married.   And with a permit to work ... but on a day off.   Exciting times.

This is the first Thanksgiving for us being away from each other. Holidays are the hardest time when we're apart but not anymore soon. I just had video call with him together wity my and his familiy and saying what we are grateful for this year. Next year certainly will be exciting for all of us here. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

...  Once you have your case number then you want to enter it into ceac.state.gov with the notification that it's an "immigrant" visa you are pursuing. There it will tell you if it's in transit, received and ready. You're looking for "ready" condition which means the Embassy is ready for your interview.

The CEAC info might be helpful to append to the "first post" boilerplate.

All k1 visa and adjustment of status must provide the affidavit of support. And the sponsor will be responsible for the non citizen for 10 years even in the event of divorce

the sponsor is no longer responsible if the beneficiary becomes a US citizen before the 10 years is up
