NVC Filers - October 2018

How long is it taking to get an interview from the date of Case Number being assigned? Posts here seem to suggest that everyone is getting their cases closed within a month of submitting documents and getting an interview date soon after. I read somewhere that it's taking 6 months bu it doesn't seem to be taking that long... Or am I missing something.

The interview dates depends on which embassy you will go to. 

 

Some countries are a month some are waiting 6 months.

We received confirmation of case complete over the phone on Monday, October 15th.  (The email confirmation came on Wednesday the 17th).  We were told that the next round of interviews wouldn't be scheduled until the end of this month, for December...to our surprise we received an email Saturday that said we were scheduled for November 16th!

how long does it normally take to get cc after check list ? I got checklist on the 18th submitted new docs on the 19th and got "Documentarily Qualified" that same evening. Just trying to figure out if they actually expedited my case because it went so fast. 😊

Hi all. Glad to join you on the next stage of the this patience simulator... our case was sent to the DOS in October.

 

Anybody have experience of how long it takes for the NVC to receive it and then assign a case number from notice it was sent to DOS?

My attorney filled a wrong information while filling the D260 and its cannot be edited... what can i do to solve this problem??? could anyone help on this please?

There is nothing u can do now 

u can correct any wrong information in your interview

CC this morning.  Called twice. One said wait up to 3 weeks.  Another one said case complete.  Next in line for an interview.

 

Then checked ceac. Changed to At NVC😊

Not sure this is really help. But my USCIS shows my case sent to Department of State on August 30th. I called NVC several times, they are confirmed to received my case on Sep 6th.
And it about to be 7 weeks...... I am currently still waiting on NVC to give me Case Number and invoice.....

Our case also sent to NVC on 30th august and they received it on sep 6th. still waiting for case number. hope we'll get it by the end of this week.
