Just FYI I called NVC yesterday and though the woman wasn't super nice she did say they are almost done scheduling November and should be done by the end of the week - so I should call back at the end of the week and check again.

Hi, I just have a question. My case was just sent by USCIS to NVC (oct 3). My husband called NVC today and they said they see it but its not yet on their database. Does this mean they already received it on mail but havent assigned a case number yet? That's why it isnt in their database?

Same here... status changed to in transit on Monday and then yesterday it changed to ready. We called nvc and was given our interview date. Still waiting for the email.

I called back and she said it could take up to a week to get the email, if we dont have it in a week to call back
